Alright guys, I need help translating the main forum nodes into French & German & Polish if possible since I'm going to be creating sections for those language as well (I know translation are available here but I don't trust myself copying and pasting the correct forums where they currently are)

Hi.

 

I hope you don't mind me posting this here (someone else might come up with better translation), but I added Polish translations next to sections. Only DAO and DAI names are a bit different than English ones, so I added Polish equivalents. Also, word "lore" is hard to interpret in Polish, so I'll use what's used on this forum in Polish section, which is "universe of [insert game]". If you're looking for different translation, just say a word.

 

And btw, good you didn't copy those from here, since they're divided a bit differently.

 

Oh, and one more thing. In case you plan to add Fan Creations section, it's Twórczość Fanów.

Wow...i didn't know this place was closing down.....and i'm not sure why there is hostility as far as new forums are concerned. If folks are making a site, why don't they just put the links in this thread, and we can sign up for multiple forums. I love the Silent Hill series and i'm a member at both Silent Hill Community and Silent Hill Heaven. I'm sure the folks here can accomplish the same accolade.

So, just so that I follow your line of reasoning here: When you steal others' work and claim it as your own, that's okay. When others use the same name as yours when showing samples and asking for design suggestions, that's not okay.

The coping of a thread, post or forum is surely the most grievous of offences that has never been perpetuated by anyone else in this thread... nope, no one comes to mind when discussing the wholesale reproduction of forum content.

Probably shouldn't even have "Bioware" anywhere in anything resembling a name, since it's trademarked. Why invite trouble?

 

How about combining a familiar name from each of the franchises? I think someone here has the handle "Biotic Apostate.". I love that. Totally recognizable to anyone who knows Bioware games.

 

Some ideas, admittedly none very good, but maybe will spur the imagination of someone else: 

• Element Zero Lyrium
• Grey Wardens of Spectre
• Indoctrinated Darkspawn
• Blight Reapers

The German stuff We have the same problem as Polish regarding the word 'Lore'. There's nothing as pretty in German, so I'll just follow Rascoth's approach (also stealing the fan creations idea)

I was thinking of something along "The Refuge"... it might be treated as a joke and it's not related to Bioware at all, I'm in no hurry anyway I have until the 26th of Aug (probably launch a week or so before that).
