I'll probably just stay on the forums that I'm already on and be that one lone person that posts the most about Mass Effect. Well they're typically different fandoms or LGBT+ related but I'll still talk about Mass Effect... With them closing BSN means there's one less place for me to talk about Mass Effect...

Well that's just reddit's nature in general. You post a popular opinion, but state that the post is actually an unpopular opinion in the thread title or opening post, and people flock to yes manning you like moths to a flame. I know less about the ME subreddit than the DA one, but the DA one is pretty good. They hate Vivienne tho from my experience. Never heard of/had any issues with the mods tho.
Still I always felt like there was less of a hierarchy of opinionated people dictating what you can and can't think on this forum than a lot of other video game forum's and especially on reddit. You can come here and say you think DA2 is the best bioware game and that the ME3 ending was great. Sure people will disagree with you, criticize your views, some might go a little over the top but I see less of the treating people like human garbage over silly stuff like that here. Then again I left a lot of other forums ages ago for that reason (and I almost never use reddit), maybe they have changed.

It's got worse imo. A lot of posts in general are like those shitty ones you find on Facebook.

I'll just drift.
Very occasionally I'll drift toward a semi-deserted island, where a couple of people, if I'm lucky, will be talking about BW games. And if I'm even luckier, I'll be able to weigh in on the discussion before it fizzles out. And it WILL fizzle out, before it even starts.
Then, when they're no longer talking about it, I shall get back in to the ocean and drift some more to another far off semi-deserted island.
And they will ask me where I'm from, where is home, and I will tell them-
This news has SERIOUSLY turned me into a Moping Molly. I'm gonna watch some gamer poop. Speaking of which, that's where I'll spend a lot of my time now. In the YouTube comments, on BW's channel mainly.
Also, I've just spotted a biggish black spider on my ceiling, and it's one of those spiders that seem to find it really hard to not fall off walls and ceilings, so I'm getting the hell off my bed. Not having that bloody thing fall on my head.

On Reddit, your posts just get downvoted into oblivion and hidden so nobody can read them without actively clicking on them.

well it's better than piling on people but not better than here. Still people on reddit tend to be incredibly opinionated, i've had people proper ranting at me over some very ridiculous things on there.
