Bioware devs probably hang out the most on twitter because that platform is the easiest way to bury themselves in a hugbox, away from any actually cogent criticism of their games

Seriously? How are we going to report bugs? Where will all the stickies be posted? Or will people keep asking the same question over and over again for the same problem? 

 

Plenty of times there are some user "workarounds" to problems that devs take months to fix (if ever)

I am unsure if they ever publicly did so.

 

I do know of a dev, who shall remain nameless, who worked behind the scenes with some of us via PM to try and track down the issue and could never resolve it.

It's awful. There's at least 5 off-forum sites I've seen bandied about as alternatives today, so people are just scattering to the four winds. That's no way to do it. If someone had the means and was willing, the most logical thing to do would be to create The Unofficial BioWare Forums and post that link literally everywhere and get the whole ship of people here onto the new ark, rather than segmenting it by whoever's "off-topic" site is more popular and/or has more of the people you wish to associate with.

If it's the same one we discussed that one time then yea that's cool of them to at least try. I understand developing for PS3 was a ****** but damn it really sucked that our version was gimped compared to other platforms.

I don´t use Twitter, reddit or Tumblr either. Facebook is only good for getting remembered of a friend´s birthday. So I don´t see myself as a part of the community in the future anymore.

 

EA hasn´t even fixed the Retailation glitch on PC yet. D:

Didn't they say that "during testing we didn't experience these issues" or something? I may be confusing it with something else.
