You only got yourselves to blame for this mess. There are hundreds of smaller companies out there who aren't even close to raking it in as you lot are, but who not only run & maintain community sites & forums, but also moderate them PROPERLY.

 

What did you think was gonna happen when you use bots to do humans' work? You're just too cheap and too salty about "ZOMG THEY INSULTED OUR ARTISTIC INTEGRITY" so you'd rather purge this board and pretend like it never existed than to actually properly address the criticism. Never mind actually admitting you made a mistake, to the point of a total retcon of an entire trilogy & disguising it again as "artistic integrity'.

 

Personally I couldn't care less about the ME3 endings, but by retconning ME3 in Andromeda, it's obvious you believe you made a mistake. And you take the COWARD'S way out. You got a problem with the toxicity? HIRE HUMAN MODERATORS WHO KNOW HOW TO ENFORCE THE FORUM RULES, EINSTEIN!

You could also use Volunteer Moderators who would gladly clean up the sewer for free. You have plenty of people who are more than willing RIGHT HERE. Hell, I've said it tons of times in the past, give a few of us temporary mod priviliges and we'll clean up this dump within 5 minutes. So clean you could practically eat off it.

 

I liked Bioware more when you were a small developer trying to prove itself to the gaming world. Now you're just R-EA-perfied. Cheap, fat, lazy & deluded. Like Gabe Newell.

Meh, I say go for it. The forums will be read-only on August 26, and completely gone in October. Banning people now would just be a waste of manpower.

Getting mad won't solve anything, but venting does feel good.

I am very disappointed as well, and although I am rather new to these forums, lots of fun happened here.

I wonder what they will do when ME:A comes out, especially concerning the multiplayer part, which is supposed to change a lot of things.

If they wanted to keep this open, they would have found a way. This just shows that they do not value their fans, at least not as much as they keep repeating it to themselves. 

This is the news that made me question ME:A. Not Chris Wynn leaving, not the absence of info, not the absence of a gameplay trailer. This. I will definitely be waiting a while after release to see how it is received.

I can blame them for anything I want, since you don't have the cojones to. And putting it bluntly is what I do best. I cut through the sentimental bull droppings and I get to the bottom line. The rest of you should take more cues from me.
