Thank you @Baaleos!
I have a bot doing a test import now - Trying to figure out how I'll handle user data. I think the option will be for people to claim their accounts before import.

So it looks like we can't change our username ourselves, but can still have them changed later if we want by asking a mod or admin?
Don't love my name here but to make the transition easier I'll use it a little longer (and I can't think of a better one yet
)
Thanks again for doing all of this.

Namechanges are available on request, in order to avoid user confusion or abuse of them to create chaos ![]()
It would be simpler to have the same names for ease of access, however you would have to be Spirit_Vanguard as the setup we have doesn't allow spaces in names.
Either way if you decide to change usernames I'll need notification so I can then assign the imported posts to your new account (if the import works ofc)

Thanks.
I plan to keep everything the same from here just to make it easier moving forward. It's good to know if I ever come up with something else I can still change it. ![]()

Does anyone want to try and collaborate efforts? Seems a lot of various folks are all making forums at the same time, which is confusing and scattering. At the moment, I've been backing what I'll call "The Fans' BSN" (http://bsn.boards.net) because it's run by Cyonan, a prodigious, level-headed, and well-known dataminer from the ME3MP forum. He's trying to rebuild it in the way things were here and we've gotten most of the Twitter Thread updaters over there continuing their work. I'm the Global Moderator/Community Manager over there.
We could definitely use design and theme assistance, as well as any thoughts on archival of the old BSN, which you seem to be making progress on? Or we could perhaps link to you or whoever manages to successfully archive BSN. I've got my two MP Resource Libraries saved and archived over there, but that's not even a small pebble in the bucket of knowledge here.

For this reason, and considering I'm already running a successful site, I thought it would be a good place to import content and get going, as even with dedicated users taking a site off the ground is a daunting task.
I'm very happy to welcome anyone who would like to take a senior position in this project, I am not trying to "own" it I'm just trying to make it long lasting based on my previous experiences.
That said I understand the desire of ownership so happy to collaborate help and cross link with everyone

I was thinking a rap battle. Or a very intense game of Pictionary.
