I did not get Dragon age 3 day one either I waited 6 months before I got the game.I love mass effect but I got these felling like there gonna eff it up.

They must have reasons to do it but as far as i'm concerned i do feel a little bit used and discarded. I don't often accuse of "betrayal" because nobody owes me any loyalty but the BSN was always named as one of the most active and creative communities in this media. To throw it all away, and at the same time force that community to split, in search of "new blood" is...sad, to say the least.

The best reason to play on day 1 was always to avoid running into spoilers. Now that will be easy, so I don't see any reason not to wait for patch 2 or 3.

5 days from now I'm gonna post a thread about how awesome Bioware games are and we need more day 1 DLCs specially for ME:A. I'll probably go the poll section and make a poll there for you folks. Doom sayers say tomorrow is the end of the world, but I know it's not happening!

We'll see. I'm hopeful it will be a good game, but if I get to launch and think it's not worth my money, I simply won't buy it.

I know, i was there too. But it felt like we were moving to somewhere else. This feels like we are being kicked out..politely, of course!

Eh, yeah, almost certainly. I know there's quite a bit of doubt going around with the closure of the forums and all, but... Well, to be honest, it's not like I hang around the forums of any other upcoming games I'm looking forward to.

 

Even the worst BioWare game I've ever played was still worth playing, so why stop now?

I bought DAI on PC at day one for 70€ then the three dlcs at 15€ each so I ended up spending 115€ in total. Now the game of the year edition with all that plus the two schematics dlc for just 16€ in play station store. The only reason to buy the game at day one was so I could discuss things here so not doing that with MEA.

 

The thing is if you wait a month you'll get 20% discount, wait 3 month and 33%, wait 6 month and you'll have 50%. Then wait 1 year and you'll have free dlcs with the game of the year edition, wait 2 years and you'll have that at 50% discount or more if you wait a bit longer.

I've been extremely sceptical about even buying the game since they uttered the word Andromeda!

 

I'll give em a chance though. This forum is the best place to find any info and discuss it with other fans . . . aaaaaaaaaand it's gone.

Thing is I can wait 2 weeks for a used copy with a trade and then use what I saved to buy DLC some days I leave the store without paying at all. (My library was large... WAS.)

That only makes even more clear how stupid they are if they think they can avoid the backlash of a sucky Andromeda lol. All those Twitters and Facebooks and Reddits they love so much will be their downfall.
