I did a 180 on my BIoware love ever since DA: I, but I would bet money the pre orders for ME: A will be as good as or even better than ME3 or DA: I. I'm not immune to being wrong and the future will tell, but I would be surprised if that wasn't the case. "It says Bioware on the box!!!11!1!1"
*whooooosh*You can't preorder it on day 1. That's release day. Most retailers don't take pre-orders when the item they're selling is available.
don't need to. Its mass effect.Too early to say. We barely know anything about the game.

I thought we were looking for reasons to preorder?
-Great graphics.
-New augmentations.
-Cyberpunk theme.
-Moral dilemmas.
-Interactive hub worlds.
-Different playstyles.
Wait no, that's Deus Ex.
I am extremely glad it comes out when it does. Means there will be something awesome to take my mind off things when this place closes.
^That's what I was thinking. I really don't play games anywhere as much as I used to. But the two franchises I will honestly drop anything for are Dark Souls and Deus Ex.
What a shame. What a rotten way to die.-Great graphics.

If only they would release official system requirements for it.
^They haven't? Doesn't it launch in like 3 weeks?

Haven't seen anything on the Steam forums, the actual Steam page or their official forums other than some "leaked" requirements that are most likely total guesswork at best.
In truth I will probably get a copy for review anyway, so pre-ordering is not really something I have to do.
It might be something I want to do though. I do want to wait and see, as I tend to only pre-order two-three games a year anyway.
Will previous posts still be viewable after the forum closes? Like, can I still go through all the mods and fan creations on these forums?
Not after October.
I know too little about the game to make that decision now. I'll know better (hopefully) by around February or March next year. I never really decide if I buy a game on Day One until about a month prior to its release. I think that BioWare wants to reveal more information about Andromeda the same way Bethesda did for Fallout 4, makes sense too (for them anyway). So I guess that we'll know more about the game sometime in October or November this year, then will follow a very excruciatingly painful waiting period of about four months before its release.

I used to have a few titles like that for me, but I guess I'm just getting too old or something....I'm starting to have little love for games these days. I never get an urge like "I love that game so much and I can't wait to get home and play it!"
I had a surge of ME3 a month or two ago, but that is over and my PS3 just collects dust now. All the new games I was excited to try aren't really my thing. It sucks because gaming is A LOT cheaper than most other hobbies. Spending hundreds of dollars every weekend in ammo gets old fast.
It makes you wonder if there shutting down the site so they don't want to be put on blast went it tanks,
thats what i thought when i heard about this.

Never gonna be a day one purchase from this company ever again.
