I mean, look at their dresses.

And look at their poses

And they were so dramatic and divas.

Tevinter seems very modern.... I just hope that style don't arrive to Ferelden, I'd hate to see Mage proud festivals in Denerim with mages showing their electricity tricks, somebody please think of the children!

Not rly, every of his researches lead to a disaster because this guy had no idea what he was doing.

Isn't that legitimately a trait in half of the great scientists out there... just most of them don't destroy the world.

Usually they tend to kill themselves painfully.Or steal others ideas and ran with it...

Anyway too bad Cory and Archy didn't overdose on the Blight.

They did manage to mess with their looks though , no amount of botox, make up and cosmetic surgery is going to fix that.

Yeah I think their looks qualify them for a Darwin award at least...

Though I think if they tried eye shadow after an afternoon of avocado masks it could probably buff out all of... those are supposed to be their faces right?

The Disciple was one of his experiments that worked.

He fights alongside you to save Amaranthine City.

His method consists of trial and error, which is inherently prone to many failures until resulting in success. But it did work.

Very much so. You have officially been given my blessings, may the Old Gods bless you with knowledge and wisdom.

edit-

And now the sad part, is now I want to see someone mod the Architect and Corphyeus actually lip singing for their life. With Hawke, the Inquisitor, and Varric as the judges. roflcopter

Great scientists take necessary precautions to you know don't blow the world up.

Disciples were a failure, entire daa is about cleaning mess that architect caused by awakening darkspawn and civil war he created.

He also attacks the keep and slaughters dalish elves and set enraged mage on humans, specifically his disciples did.

The only thing he succeeded is find a way to free darkspawn from the calling, every his other try was a failure.Assuming he still wants "peace" he is failing very hard, as his journey to black city and tampering with old god.

I think he did he just did not cared for the outcomes afterall he wanted to kill with the blight the people of Thedas in the book.

Well it was clear that darkspawn civil war a problem for him anyway, and assuming he still wants peace disciples are a failure..

1- Not disciples. The Disciple.

Did you try to save Amaranthine city at all?

A darkspawn will willingly seek your Warden and TALK to them in an attempt to warn them about the Mother's plan to invade Vigil's Keep. He's an awakened darkspawn that's immune to the Calling and who's accepted the Architect as his spiritual leader.

The Architect's concoction works. And as stated in the epilogue, should the Warden NOT KILL the Architect, he becomes a leader to the darkspawn, gathers them around and, through his guidance, "the Deep Roads have never been quieter" (quote from the DLC).

2- The Architect didn't order the attack. It was the Withered who went against his orders and attacked Vigil's Keep.

The Architect explains this to your Warden, right before the battle against the Mother. The Architect's plan was TO SEEK HELP FROM THE WARDENS TO STOP THE MOTHER FROM THE START.

The only one responsible for the second attack on Vigil's Keep is the Mother. The Architect never ordered any actions against the Wardens.

1.So basically you ignore every other disciple but focus on one the most stable one (still far from the nice guy) because it fits into your narrative?

Also it works for now, considering tremendous amount of problems that path will cause and alread did cause and huge amount of potential problems that can show up allong the way, it was almost a total failure on architect part. Also epilogues are just a rumors.

2.Actually he didn't went against the Orders, he just decided to take prefered interpretation of what architect said (ie kill everyone and then negotiate with WC) what is just one of many pieces of evidence that disciples are unstable.

Plus, he kidnaped grey wardens.

1-No. Because it is evidence the awakened darkspawn can be hoarded and guided by the Architect. He has the power to influence them and keep their urge for violence under control. But that's not the only proof.

ALL the darkspawn that followed the Mother were free of the Calling, including the Mother herself. The reason why they still attacked the Wardens is because the Mother, contrary to the Architect, incited them to act violently. She wanted to destroy the Architect for what he had done to her: removed her ability to hear "the beautiful music", as the darkspawn call the Calling.

So his experiment DOES work. The concoction frees darkspawn from the Calling, PERIOD. But once freed, they become a reckless mob that needs control. Like you said, they're unstable. And that's something the Architect knows how to do, once again, as stated in the Epilogue.

3- As for the kidnapping, the Grey Wardens that were brought to the Architect were already dead. The Architect tells you so in the Tevinter Ritual Tower.

Someone should have explained that to the Russian sciencentist who intentionally injected himself with a 3 million year old species of bacteria because reasons recently.

Really?

I've read a book " a short history of nearly everything" and there were tons of little stories about famous and not so famous scientists who were doing a lot of stupid stuff , and their quirks.

It was highly amusing.

It's good to hear the derp is still going strong in the scientific community.

I'm still not over the fact that Cory had Wicked Witch of the West -not sure how you'd call it-pantyhose?

It's like even Bioware had trouble taking the poor guy seriously.

1.What are you just that gullible?Architect has barely control over actions of the disciples, even his people are highly unstable and violent.Plus, other disciples chose to follow the mother, there is absolutely 0 guarantee that they simply won't turn on him again as they did before. You would need to be extremely naive to think that such unstable, violent and ruthless beings could be controled by mere power of puppies. Darkspawn civil was is true embodiment that Architect screwd up.

Also aside from the fact that epilogues are just a rumors (what you gleefully ignored and proceed to use it again proudly) there is nothing in epilogue that would evidence his success only that deep roads got quiet.

2.What is false, as Keenan proves and that he ambushed WC and his team while still alive.

I admit, the Architect-lives version is a lot more interesting, and I do like the idea of the Deep Roads becoming less active, giving the dwarves some time to breathe. Still, that they're poisonous plague-walkers that destroy everything they touch makes it hard to do anything that doesn't involve killing any on sight.
