Eh. I'll take it.
Lol sorry if it came across as a back handed compliment?
Happy posting while it lasts.

Bioware right now:
^This is EAware's new theme song!
Most of what I said about you specifically ws indeed intended as good natured teasing. Sorry if it came across as something more unpleasant.
The last couple of paragraphs were not directed to you personally, but to everyone including myself. We all have the possible tendency to be hypocrites.
If you are truly curious about my specific opinions of some of your specific posts of the past I could oblige but probably better to take it to pm's. If you wish to do so please bear in mind I am travelling and may not respond as much as I would like until i get back on the 17th.
In any case happy posting while it lasts.
Reading back it was only the two paragraphs in the middle that referred to you specifically. I did ramble on after that. Lol. Hope that helps.
Okay thanks for clearing that up, makes better sense to me now. I was 85% sure it was not all meant to be taken dead serious but it can be hard to read intent just from the written word. I agree that I am as guilty as anyone else on the forums of a lot of the issues you bring up.
I've found that writing out a response, waiting five minutes, going back and looking at it before posting can sometimes help my posts. It's hard in the heat of the moment or if quickly responding to something on the way out the door, but can sometimes be worth it. Alas, I will no longer have the time to implement this strategy going forward. ![]()

These forums now and in the next 3 weeks...
But it has everything to do with my expectations that ME:A won't be shallow, casual and totally unworthy of BioWare'a name. So I won't "blindly" preorder (with possible exception that they'll release MP demo and it will be as good as ME3MP) and wait how it will turn out. But I won't be holding my breath while doing so. Which, I've been told, is the smart thing to do.I hear going outside is cool.
On a similar note, if closing the forums (something that HAS ZERO to do with MEA itself) is what causes you to not preorder, then that's pretty silly to me.
There are instances when it's actually a good idea (story driven RPG like Mass Effect, that would take you at least a month to finish otherwise, is one of them) to take a few days off, if you can afford it (which I can). Other than that, you're absolutely, 100% right.A good idea for any game. Video games are for weekends. Vacations are for real life.
Why do you think this? Why do you think people who are offensive towards a company on forums hosted by said company should be protected? Bioware isn't a government, and forums aren't a service that you pay for.
I suspect that you don't actually know what free speech is because it definitely isn't the right to be a jackass, consequence free.
Unsurprisingly a lot of people seem to think this when it is quite obviously not the case.
