I haven't really posted here for a couple of years now, but I was active from Neverwinter Nights release up until then.  Some of you may remember me, many probably don't.  At any rate, I just needed to come back and comment about how disgusted I am with the fact that my good friend, DragonRacer was permanently banned from here for dropping an F bomb.

 

Dragon is the author of the Resource Libraries that are stickied at the tops of the ME3 MP and DAI MP forums.  She's been a SERIOUS advocate for BioWare, beloved my many users here, and has a long list of friends at BioWare that she has played many a game with.

 

Her banning here over what was formerly considered a minor offense is, in a word, horrible.  She was shedding tears for losing this place, and then she was permanently banned for one upset post.

 

BSN/The BioWare Forums are already dead, if this is considered acceptable here.  I have purchased nearly all of BioWare's games, myself, but that likely just changed.

Especially egregious in light of the fact there are posters gloating about the number of warnings they've racked up over the years without any repercussions.

Yeah, I've only had two.  One for creating one of these topics, and another for being a bit too harsh with someone spreading lies.  That one was deserved.

Well that's freaking stupid. I've seen loads of uncensored swearing here, and the mods never did anything about that. But no, when a respected long-time member lets out a single curse, they're instantly banned. That makes sense. Standard Bioware, really.

 

When they announced this I thought 1 of 2 things would happen.

 

1. They'd be extremely lax on rules since it's all going down in flames anyway.

2. They'd be super strict so they can get their power-trip before it's over without any of us being able to do anything about it.

 

Guess it was number 2. And DragonRacer, hopefully you can see this thread. Try to come back somehow, huh?
