I don't get it. This seems really stupid to me. How much does it cost to operate these forums to a company like Bioware?
I read the announcement post and it made me angry. These forums are not just for you to receive feedback BW, it is also for your fans to gather and discuss your games. Closing down the forums just because there are other ways to receive feedback screams selfish to me.

I doubt it's because of the cost, or that it's really to do with feedback, it's probably because of the reputation of this place.
It's a common opinion that this place is full of "crazy". Bioware probably want's to distance itself from that. Can't say I 100% agree or disagree with them on the matter...
