I have all of the files downloaded and saved to mediafire for when we get confirmation on what we can/can't do with the mods. I saved the descriptions with a notepad and such. I haven't tried to download anything with the HTTrack program I have. I wonder if you were to put up adblocker it would bypass the language question? I haven't seen that question in a few weeks. I have to head into work but I'll take a peek at it on my lunch break.

Hmm I suspect the language question won't be there if you're logged in. I'm sure HTTrack probably has some way around it, but it would pay to check when you start anything just to make sure you're not simply being redirected to and saving that language page over and over again.

lol I can just imagine opening the file after. "Well I dunno, let me see this in Russian." "What language do you want?" "Uh, let's try Polish?" "What  language do you want" ".... I hate you."

Shades, I had the same problem when I first tried to backup the legacy BSN. Afaik, you can't bypass this. Something I haven't tried though, there is an option in HTTrack that lets you enter name and password for the site you want to download. Maybe that will help.

I've spent two hours this afternoon on it After supper I'm going to get back on it. I just don't want to get in trouble  like I'm a hacker or something. (I barely know how to use forums but I can follow directions!)

serenai; save what you can on your own personal space; I think right now between the five/six people working on the preservation we have most bases covered but having extra eyes on stuff we miss is never a bad idea. You can see our post at Nexus to keep tabs on our progress
