Recently I have started  getting these sorts of errors  when I open my mod in the toolset  and they seem to be multiplying  . . .any idea how I can track them down and fix them? It is set up as a directory.

Well, it seems there's something wrong with the blueprints. Whether it comes from a uti, utd, utc or a 2da file is unfortunately not an immediate finding. Since it appeared "recently" though, what did you do lately? I suggest you sort the files in your directory by date, and move the blueprints (by batches of 10 for example, depending on how many there are) somewhere else starting from the newer ones, then restart the toolset: if the error is gone, then you'll know the culprit was in the batch you just moved. If not, the undo the move and start again with the next one.

It's also possible the problem comes from a 2da: to find out, try to open the last one you modified (within the toolset) and check if all the lines all have the same number of data (an extra space in a text field is enough to break the expected pattern).

That is a corrupt uti file. Had them as well. No easy way finding them. What 4760 says for finding them is good. I first removed half the UTIs from my campaign folder. Problem was still there so I moved half of that and so on. If you're lucky you'll find the problematic files soon.

Thanks that at least narrows things a little for me     

 

 

not touched the 2da files so thats not it  I will check through the UTI files and see if I can find the culprits

 

Would just reorganizing them in the toolset cause this to happen?   The first 2 that happened might take me awhile to find as they have  been going on for awhile , the  next 10  just started  and just prior to that, I have not Made any UTI files   but I have reorganized a number of them in my toolset

I don't know about reorganizing but for me it was copying blocks of UTI files from another HD.

Well I managed to track down the issues  finally    though oddly  enough the majority of them were UPE files  8 of them  with 1 UTC, 1 UTI, and one UTP file.

 perhaps not  but  when scattered to the winds tis  difficult to reform and gather those that are lost in the shuffle again  . . .  though perhaps the move will help to get rid of many of the bad links to forums/ sites
