Fortunately for those trying to decide which forum to sign up for, the uBSN method of selecting moderators is actually publicly recorded here, so they can easily view the selection system used and decide whether or not they consider it superior.

Vroom is happy to see that more people are starting to refer to themselves in third person. Vroom wants to take credit for this trend as he has been doing this consistently for the last couple of years, but alas, it was not Vroom that set this trend

Cyonan's forum, it's not good idea because the forum moderators here are not carefully picked to moderate the forum. Cassandra on other hand WERE careful. she handpicked the moderators that community has respect and likes, support. it's like saying you don't know how the community members feels about a member. and that's why it's gonna get out of hand in few weeks.
I really don't want this thread to go into a bad direction as it is a thread meant to help others.
But I will express that I am slightly offended at the slander you are leveling at the moderators of Cyonan's forum. Particularly since I am the Global Moderator/Community Manager there. And I seem to recall Cassandra asking me to be the Community Manager for her forum after I had already started working with Cyonan on his forum's launch.
But, you know, I and my moderators weren't carefully picked or anything.
I heard that all the mods on Cyonan's forum have rap sheets a mile long!

I am not sure rap describes the music they are into. There is a death metaller, a techno dubstep type and a couple of them are into that hippity hop you young people like.

I wanted to let everyone know that I successfully exported the entire Mass Effect Andromeda forum. This includes, usernames, post time, post content, topics.
I am now working on a conversion to phpbb.
I have also scraped a tiny subforum with just about 10 posts, that I will convert and screenshot to post here for proof of concept.
Once I do this, I'll be able to say that I can definitively save everyone's post history, and we'll have to coordinate account creation and claiming.
Keep those chants to the maker going, they are working!
