And I guess you should be able to archive everything, the forums will still be online for over two months...

So I'll be clear, the bare minimum that it would take for me to include uBSN in this list or discussion, is for the manager to speak directly and in the first person--preferably in a PM--about their long term plans for that forum, and their willingness to cooperatively network with other forums.

allow me to explain.

1. the Founder had a meltdown due to trolls from several forums and real life stresses to the point that she just snapped. (many things were going on in her life at that time)
2. after the meltdown, she regained her composure and deleted her posts except the forum admin thread that refers about her meltdown.

3. she turned over the forum to Sofajockey in hopes that he could help get forums going but he never gotten any response from Cassandra because she was ASLEEP for whole day due to her being up during the night four times in row while doing her practice college papers on Math. so sofa trashed the whole forum, including themes and layout, setup. the whole thing. when she logged on, she is so mad at him. it took Cassandra few hours to fix everything.

Several mods resign in disgust.

 

Cassandra is back and offers admin rights to whoever will take it. Two of her mods step up. One attempts a coup and announces the forum is being shut down. Threads are archived.

 

The forum rises yet again from the ashes and Cassandra announces that uBSN will live on. She bans the admin and restores threads.

very fair.

my plans for uBSN would be full time Bioware community forum for members, serve as a home for community to hang out, chill and discuss topics not found anywhere else. the place has to be drama free, at least we try to work at it for sake of Bioware community.

here would be more discussions in regards to the PC platform of various games including Legacy games section. i'd at least can improve on Communications between the community and Moderators.

Note that AFAIK it is impossible for anyone but the original admin to ultimately shut down a proboards forum, making Sofa's coup well meaning but futile. Thus any who join uBSN are at the mercy of CS's next whim or 'meltdown.' Which is exactly what we said would happen, but were derided by CS's ever dwindling pool of defenders as simply haters bringing up irrelevant past behavior. But in CS's case, the past definitely informs the future. The definition of insanity is trying the same thing over and over again, followed by a semicolon and the words "Cassandra Saturn."
