i recently installed the game again cause i bought goty.

i am currently on the second difficulty setting, it seems almost every game im getting downed at least 2 or 3 times almost always entering fade on the last part, dose not matter what character i am playing on i always seem to take so much damage and go down fast and do so little damage, but when i look at my team i see them most of the time 1 hit killing almost everything and there health is almost always full and when its all over i am the only one not getting immortal badge.

and on top of that i have had a few times the game just closes / crashes or i get message saying disconnected or lost connection to server and it puts me back at character screen happened a few times right near end :(

i can normally find a game fast so at least there is a decent population still playing it should i just stick to single player or what character would be easiest so i can farm gold for better gear.

You'll need friends. There aren't many public matches but lots of private ones. What platform? If PS4, add russ4ua14

The game has a strange curve as far as survivability goes. To start, you're better off using sturdy classes like the Legionnaire, Arcane Warrior and Silent Sister (if you have them). Other classes are viable, depending on your gear and how carefully you play, but those three are typically the ones who don't usually die. AW does need to deal consistent damage to keep barrier up, though.

If you're dying a lot, go straight for abilities that help you stay alive before grabbing damage abilities. I'd prioritise War Cry and Walking Fortress with the Legionnaire, for example. Whoever you play, look through their abilities and passives and plan how to level them.

For Arcane Warrior I'd go straight into Fade Shield -> Guardian Spirit and Fade Cloak/Fade Step for a balance of offence and defence. Also, don't spam Spirit Blade unless you're dealing enough damage to keep your barrier up.

With Silent Sister, grab Bulwark and Flashing Steel then work towards War Cry. It's worth going for Untouchable Defense even if you don't plan on using To the Death, but only do that if you're still struggling to stay alive.

As russ4ua16 already mentioned, friends do help. You can build more or less how you like if you play with someone who can carry, and the game is much more fun playing with a regular group anyway. Other than that, craft the best armour and weapon upgrades you can, play smart, promote, promote and promote.

Because it all adds up, pretty much. Promoting is long-term progression. Whether or not you decide to play a game or two at level 20 is up to you, though.

Get 1000000 xp for any of the three classes, rogues, warriors, and mages, and you unlock a challenge that gives you drakescake armor for 16 of the 17 agents. This is the strongest armor in the game and will immensely help your survival.

I'm sorry, you have exceeded the 250 character twatter limit thus your post has been truncated to a more helpful size such as this:

"The game has a strange curve as far as survivability goes. To start, you're better off using sturdy classes like"

Here at BioWare we are happy to enhance the user experience and are especially sensitive to the needs of our new users.  We feel warm fuzzy applications such as twatter and macebook will enhance the user overall experience, have a nice day.

That's because most of us has to grind through routine and threatening before we even attempted perilous. It just takes time. Promote your characters and just keep playing. Too bad you didn't start a long time ago.... It was so fun.

Second difficulty means threatening?   You don't really need any promotions for threatening, you just need better armors.  Like Terrell said, you need to get 1 million xp on the 3 classes to get the drakescale armors.  Or you could make purple armors but getting lots of materials.   Once you have any kind of purple armor, things in threatening will do very little damage to you.   Even if you can't get purple armor, try to make some blue armors.

Since the OP also mentioned doing very little damage, we should mention that damage is very highly gear based. Don't use the starting Inquisition weapons that the game gives you. Swap them out with better weapons that you get in game or from buying chests with your gold. First priority should probably be getting better armors to increase survivability though since better damage has no use if you fade out. As Icneed mentioned, you can craft armors but that would use a lot of material. The best armors (also the ugliest...) are unlocked when you earn 1000000 xp for each class. Note that you basically earn the total of the sum of all players' xp in a game at the end so you yourself don't have to get 10000000 from your own contributions.

Well the game is only £7 on PSN Store just now.

That's a bargain.

Should be lots of new players with that price.

sigh out of my past like 10 matches this has happened twice, where i die enter fade then team goes to door revives me and im still in fade but i see my character and can move him forward and back thats it, then on top of that my team goes to the second door to enter next area and it says they dont have key and they cant progress.... so i left both games. does not appear to be much hope in me playing multiplayer lol
