BioWare has been one of my favorite game makers for so many years. But honestly within the last few years, I've felt less connected with them. They joined with EA, and company I am not all that fond of, made a rushed Dragon Age 2, added a patch for a decent ending to Mass Effect 3 that arguably should have been present to begin with, dismissed all old-gen players with DAI, and now is shutting down a forum that doesn't even need to be shut down. I know a lot of people gripe and whine about never buying from X again, or cutting all support from X forever. But I can honestly say that the new BioWare, the EA/BioWare company that I see now is nothing like I used to enjoy. And I can also say with absolute truth that I will not be a supporter of such a company anymore. I have overlooked and I have even made excuses, but I'm out of energy trying to justify my support fro a company I feel little love for anymore. I'm sadly cutting the strings with BioWare and moving on to other things. I will gladly play their older games that I still love today, but I will not avidly await their next release or cling to every word they say about them. I feel almost indifferent, because I am both deeply saddened and even hurt, but I am better off without this kind of entity in my life anymore. These forums gave some of my greatest moments during DAI's life, and I will always cherish that memory. It's painful to see those memories being erased without remorse and I feel almost offended by the act to be truthful. I'll miss all the fun I've had here and I hope that eventually I'll connect with another place like I did here. Good-bye to everyone and keep being awesome. :')
