Any old timers remember Saphra Deden?

He posted regularly like five years ago, might've been one of the most hated members of the forums at the time. I remember he was pretty infamous for his defense of renegade Shepherd. I think I even remember him arguing for joining the reapers against every same member of the forum once.
He took part in a lot of memorable and funny threads at the time and for years I've wondered what happened to him.

He retired from the forum(and the franchise) after checking out the leaked script of ME3. I know this because I was one of his close associates during that time(and have him on FB).

Oh come on, you guys are forgetting the best one! I was actually about to make this exact same thread lmao, does anyone remember "Prince Zeal"?? He used to have spasms over the fact that multiplayer was in the game. He would literally freak out about everything

How come? A guy who was in favor of joining the Reapers should have loved Synthesis.

Wait...the forums are closing?

I think I was one of the few that liked smudboy. I miss his snarky nit picking. Saphra was hilarious too tho. The Reapers are right thread or whatever was like three people versus the whole BSN.

I second AdmiralCheez, the BSN hasn't quite been the same since she left.Jeez that guy.
Are we opening a hall of fame thread of memorable forum members?
I nominate:
- AdmiralCheez
- The Angry One
Not if they have more than a half brain cell. How come? A guy who was in favor of joining the Reapers should have loved Synthesis.

The fact that this place wil be nuked in a couple weeks is killing me. Wish there was a way to archive the best (and worst) of BSN before its all gone. Too much to sift through unfortunately.

Man, you all are taking me back. I have two posts from almost six years of lurking yet I distinctly remember staying up late on this forum reading the ramblings of all these characters.

We need an Agent 47 to sneak into Bioware's office(where ever they house their data servers and download the forum data. ![]()

You should not be celebrating someone who defends renegade shepard.

Exactly what I was looking for, thanks for the closure Seboist. I thought for sure he would've just drifted away or been banned. Glad to hear he left on his own terms. Reading some of his posts again, he really was brilliant. He always had masterful defenses of the most outlandish theories. I miss that old troll. He retired from the forum(and the franchise) after checking out the leaked script of ME3. Do you know if he's active on any other forums? We all will be soon anyway.

Ah yes! Drayfish........the professor.
I used one of his quotes as my signature for a time;
___________
"We'll never win this. We're all doomed. Hey, wait a minute. Look at this! It's a magic Lego kit, and when we finish putting it together a ghost will pop out and tell us how to explode the universe. Now here's a repurposed windows wallpaper to tell us everything is okay.....
Yay!"

OP he had the same avatar you have now. I can't say I liked Saphra. He posted spoilers deliberately from the ME 3 script leak just to ****** me off but at least he talked about the games and it was fun acting like an uber paragon just to troll him since he was downright fanatical about being a renegade.
