Why didn't we get General Petrovsky's and Traynor's chess ratings? Why couldn't we play chess against Oleg as one of the dialogue options to help Aria win back Omega bloodlessly and saving Nyreen this way? And the pivotal question that doesn't let me sleep at night I have been pondering on since - would Samantha "The Toothbrush Girl" Traynor beat him in "one on one" chess combat playing black?

Also, I'm curious how would the match look like, so it'd be cool if You share your associations and analogies to this hypothetical situation from the real life games.

Its too bad Shepard couldn't invite Samantha up to the cabin to play chess with the new chessboard. I'm sure Sam would be impressed. Of course for that to happen, Omega dlc would have to be played after the coup.

I felt the same way.  I even went out of my way to get Oleg's chessboard before inviting Traynor up for chess.  Yet, even with the dialogue about how she'd rather play on a real board, it remains untouched.

Probably it would be more difficult to play against Petrovsky or Traynor. It's hard to say, the guy had no rating, because anonymous, and I'm pretty crap at this (1300?). I wonder what opening would they play. Thoughts?
