I will still be getting it. I do not know if I will get it day one automatically (depends on reviews, pre order bonus, money situation and what else I have to play) but odds are I probably will still get it on day one anyway since it is one of the games I am most looking forward to that comes out between now and the middle of 2017. I still want to see gameplay and more info from it the next few months though.

I almost never preorder anything. I'll wait for reviews or previews before deciding whether it is worth a day one purchase. If it looks like a disappointment, I'll buy it used when the price drops.

Yes, I'll definitely buy it and yes, I'll most likely pre-order it. How I feel about the forum closure is a separate issue than how I feel about the games.

I'm going to wait for all the DLC and buy it at a discount. I almost want to walk away from Bioware forever over closing the forum, but I still want to play the game apparently. Bio/EA is never getting a pre-order from me again.

Will I pre-order? No.  Will I still buy it?  As of right now, no.  I was on the fence about it to begin with, but there has been too much going on with Bioware while ME:A has been in production for me not to be concerned.  I will watch it and see some reviews, then make up my mind.  Most likely if I do get it, it won't be until after the last DLC has been released and they put out the last patch for the game.  If they have Micro-transactions, then there is no way I will buy it.  The DLC is bad enough and refuse to play any game that charges you a premium price, has DLC, and also sticks in Micro-transactions.  Any game with Micro-Transactions has been designed around them and that means the game has been altered in favor of getting you to spend more money on it.

If there's an incentive to preorder, sure why not. I'd be buying it anyhow and if I get some extra goodies all the better. Plus I got that there shiny Best Buy Gamer Club 20% off, so huzzah?

The BSN fiasco hasn't swayed me. I was always a lurker, posting seldom so I don't feel the abandonment many of you are feeling. My condolences to those affected.

Pre-order as soon as It's available.

But. I lost some faith in Bioware, if Andromeda doesn't deliver, it will be the last game I but from them because of name alone.

I decided against buying it or anything else ME related right around the time I finished ME3. I'll be sticking to that.

I think it probably will deliver.

If you ask me, it's gonna be the game to bring back players who lost faith in Mass Effect. (Even if it's just a few)

I cant really think of any future games that I'm excited more than Mass Effect Andromeda.

Elder Scrolls 6 wont come out for a while.

Cyberpunk 2077 looks like it might be cool.

Me too, day one it gets on Steam I'm buying it.

Reason? We'd have a forum there. :D

The closing of the forums hasn't changed my stance on the game yet since I don't have one.  I won't buy or not buy a game without knowing something about the game itself and the closure of these forums is a separate issue for it has nothing to do with the game itself.

I'll probably preorder it when I see some actual footage and gameplay (a substantial amount) and see a firm release date.

As for speculation that the closure of the forums has anything to do with the (totally unknown at this date) quality of the product or a lack of BioWare's faith in the game is a completely and utterly ridiculous idea. They're most likely closing them because this is no longer a place to actually get good feedback thanks to the toxicity that infected the forums after ME3.

Look, Gearbox didn't suddenly shut down their forums in the middle of developing (or prior to) the release of Aliens: Colonial Marines, now did they? If they didn't shut their forums down when they had to have absolutely, positively known how bad that game was going to be prior to release, does this whole (completely ridiculous) "BW must lack faith in the game" theory that's been floated around make any kind of logical sense whatsoever?

Heck, the Gearbox forums even have a legacy section where, yeah, Aliens: Colonial Marines is listed along with other legacy games (personally, if I were Gearbox, I'd totally want to pretend that that game never happened, though).

Yes I'm still pre-ordering. The forums closing doesn't have any effect on my purchasing decisions since I never had any real love for this place anyhow; at most I'm a bit disappointed because no more Twitter thread, but eh.

I suppose it's a very good thing I signed up for Twitter a month ago for the express purpose of directly seeing more Andromeda news. ;)

I'll wait a couple of days or weeks, at least.

See how many hours the game is, how many bugs need ironing, how the side quest content measures up and how much RNG I have to put up with.

I'll get it eventually but if it's DAI side quest and RNG all over again, I'm waiting for a few DLC's to come out first.

Need to find out if the PC physical copy is actually going to be a physical copy or will go the way of other games and just have a blank disc with a digital client on it.

I don't think I'm even going to be able to run it, so not much point buying it.

Conveniently I'll get to play the gf's copy and see what it's like before making any major decisions about computer upgrades. The MP is pretty much guaranteed to be fail so I probably won't ever buy it. Just play ME3MP until they shut down the server.

The closing of the forum is just another item in a long list of bad moves from biower.

Given I've played the first three it would be churlish to flat out say I won"t ever buy it.

Can't see myself pre-ordering though. I'm really not that excited for its release.
I'm more hyped for Tyranny, TTON, DX:MD, Dishonored 2.

Probably Not.

Prior to this announcement I was an unabashed Bioware fangirl and I was happily so. I knew why and how a lot of people had issues with decisions made and issues with the games. I was able to overlook the RNG, I was able to overlook my disappointment about the ME3 conclusion, I was able to overlook several other things like the discrepancy of the lore btwn other media like books and that one ME based anime and the actual games.

I think this forum being wiped off of Earth however might be the final straw for me.

So while I'm merely one measly past- super fan- that means that I will not purchase 6 new copies of the entire DA and ME series I was going to for a new pc I was planning on building.

That means I'm not going to auto preorder collectors editions of any future games which I used to do without question.

I have at least 10 tshirts regarding the ME and DA games, I am planning on redecorating my house and I had definite plans to have some more subtle art based on things I enjoyed in both IP's around my home.

Honestly, I was a great customer. I repurchased ruined copies of my discs when they inexplicably didn't work (ME3 CE I'm looking at you) and also purchased PC versions of a lot of the games where I had already played on consoles.

I don't know if I want to be so loyal and such a great customer now. I just don't.

If I do buy MEA it's going to be way past drop date- maybe a year and half down the road when I can get it second hand for $10. Or maybe not at all.

Maybe I won't spend anytime gaming anymore. Who cares? I have a ton of interests and maybe it's just time for me to just move on and learn how to paddleboard, learn how to do a lot of physical things.

So yeah. I just don't know but it certainly won't be a shiny new collector's edition preorder.

Hell hath no fury like a customer scorned. But I love life- and will be living it.
