So all of this negative threads (worst faction, forum shutdown, kill nemeses etc.) just made me weary, so I open this topic to ask you and talk about why do you like Cerberus. But really, there are love threads to everything, yet this magnificent organization. So here it goes: why do you like Cerberus? What do you like in them? How do you show your appreciation?

Negative Nancys should expect a package from the Phantom & Dragoon delivery. They deliver in BULKS, folks, so keep it civil.

Dragoons are wonderfully mad, love phantoms to hear the cries of the elite players that get gibbed while turning their nose up a stasis.  Love the chittering warbles of the nemsis, their mating call.

Cerberus is the best faction, easily. It has the highest number of different enemies, is the only one with both organics and synthetics, includes the 4 types of defenses (health, shield, barrier and armor), has both CQC and long range enemies, let you melee all its units without a 100% chance to be synced...

 

Last but not least, Cerberus has Phantoms   , the best enemy in the game.

Stasis as a power comes into its own against Cerberus, primarily because it assists with the generation of Phantom / Nemesis death moans.

Mail-slotting Guardians - never gets old.

 

Sabotaging Turrets - what's not to like?

 

Sabotaging Atlases - what's not to like?

Although, I do appreciate them not implanting a control chip or failsafe into Shepard, so there's that. I also appreciate them for improving the Normandy's layout (to which the Alliance one again screwed it up). But mostly, I appreciate them introducing me to Mordin, and giving me the opportunity to meet Grunt.

Our medic just described you a chip therapy. Don't worry, 100% percent of our patients survived, some of them describing the process "It was long, it was wrong, but it felt so right"

there is nothing funnier when you have 2 atlas' spawn next to each other and you sabotage 1 to make them get into a fist fight with each other.....

 

honorable mention goes to: sabotaging a turret as an engineer is setting it up, to watch that turret waste the engineer the second it's up & running.

What about the taking casualties line? Or the classic squad, keep moving? Or roger that, Atlas? Target cloaked?

Also, I was quite surprised when I found out that Phantoms also do talk. They have ten phrases, but they are so heavily phased that the words can be barely made out. I've only managed to recognize "Enemy neutralized" and "Behind us".

 

Also, Cerberus plays a really important mediating part in MP politics as the Thunderdome is a Cerberus base.

I appreciate Cerberus for selling the Alliance the Harriers while withholding them from their own troops.

Also, for not telling Nemeses that the Raptor is actually a multi-shot sniper rifle.
