No nothing like that.

This request is actually reasonably common. I'm for it. I'm skeptical of all the alternative requests for the PC to have put in more effort with all the romanceable characters. Most people decide if they're potentially into someone pretty quickly after meeting them. I'd rather that a few of the LIs show mutual or proactive interest, rather than seeming as though they need to be coerced into a relationship.
Kaidan did make the first move on FemShep. FemShep could have a relationship with him simply by being vague about his interest and he would pursue her. I like it since it didn't make Shepard look like a sex fiend and abusing authority.
Liara also make the first move by cyberstalking Shepard before you two even talk about one another.
Ash made the first overtures to Male Shep as well in ME1, showing that she was interested regardless of whether you flirted with her or not.
Tali also makes the first move in ME2 by showing her interest in male Shepard, as well as the game revealing she'd nursed a hidden crush ever since ME1.
I don't know really. Being courted by Harbinger was awkward enough.
I have only played ME 1 so i don't know anything about the other ME games.
I like characters being able to make a move.
I'd mention Anders, but we don't have enough days to do that debate justice...
Romance idea no. 35186
Our protagonists, spending their down time in their quarters, falls in love with a character from a video game they've been playing to pass the time.
Interactions and love scenes include - Writing highly implausible yet erotically charged fan-fiction, debates on forums about how it would taste if they spat in your mouth, and creating extremely sexualised art that focuses on their . . . erm . . . focusing points.
Plot twist - Just before our protagonist provides a link to the recently finished (and Magnum Opus level) fan-fiction, the antagonist shuts down the forum leaving said fan-fiction rotting in obscurity and the hero of ME:A swearing revenge on all that have earned their waifu's ire.
You forgot the antagonist first making sock puppet accounts to flame the protagonist.
We need pyjacks LIs from the local life forms of Andromeda...
Asaru doesn't count

I notice Ash have different dialogue set for BroShep. She sound unusually breathy for some reason. But I like that you could reject them completely and they'll treat you coldly instead.
At least none of potential Mass Effect LIs are like how Anders would try to talk about why you choose someone else and not him. I tried to get the confrontation scene triggered but ended up failing.
Just think, every time you log in to waste time with us, no matter how pleasant, you could be finishing the trilogy. Moreover, once you've finished the trilogy, you'll be able to waste time with us from a position of full understanding. All of our BS, musings and banter will take in new life and deeper meaning.
Damn it, Patricia. Finish those games!
Hey i'm at work at the moment so gaming is not possible for me right now
. And i know you're right that i could have an opinion about the other two ME games. And hey you're not a waste of time i like talking to a lot of you
.
I know i know but i promise someday i will finish those games to

No there are only three weeks left so we have to do that some other time

Nah, he was an ass, he deserved that Murder Knife
I know what you're going to say another one ?
But what if the romance option was a little more diverse. So why not the other way around and have your squadmates / companions make the first move when it comes to romance. Why is it always the Protagonist that has to make the first move. Let them come with flirts flowers and other stuff and why leave it at one attempt why not two or three. And that you ( the protagonist ) can make the choice to pursuit that person or not. And let's make it even more interesting why not two lovers one main lover and one mistress male / female just like Vivienne had with Bastien. I don't want to turn it into a love / sex game. That is definitely not what i want but a little more interesting when it comes to romance is not so bad right ?
And why stop at the companions there are more persons out there for instance Lace Harding in Dragon Age Inquisition she can pursue the Inquisitor or another person male / female outside the companion circle.
So thoughts on this matter ?
I think the devs give your PC the prerrogative to initiate romances because one of the most relevant reasons why people like games is that players can have the illusion of control.
Give NPCs too much initiative and the player might feel uncomfortable. Weren't there people who complained about not being able to change the mind of certain NPCs, no matter how much persuasion they had with them? Remember how Anders blows up the Chantry, regardless of their romance with Hawke? Or what about Mordin choosing to sacrifice himself if Wrex is alive and you saved Maelon's data, no matter how much Shepard tries to dissuade him of the idea?
Players need to feel they are in charge. Not all the time, of course, but when it comes to making the most important decisions in the game, they dislike having the freedom of choice taken from them.
Your hand, that what we haven't seen in the franchise
This thread topic is new and exciting.
