Bioware is shutting its doors after Andromeda?

From what I read, they gave some nonsensical statement that they're shutting everything down because, basically, they're developers are on Twitter. In my experience, though, most official game forums seem to have little do with developers at all, outside of news/announcement sections. Typically, most are just the community posting questions, conversating, discussing mods, and pretty much any and everything else related to the games.
So, is any of this true?

As in, no new posts.
The archives will remain for a bit longer, so if there's any nice tidbits you want to save, then break out the CTRL-C and CTRL-V.

I haven't personally heard anything about this being bioware's last game...As far as these forums go though you'd be surprised. Sure there's alot of speculation, fan discussions and whatnot, but there were numerous instances where the feedback was in fact acknowledged and acted upon in some way or another (not always to everyone's liking but take that as you will). That's why it's so unfortunate to see this place go. They're essentially selling out.

That's none-sense from Bioware's part, shutting these down is bonkers. In fact, Bioware should take a page from Maxis and hire a community manager for their forums as a means to communicate with costumers/players and the devs especially when new games hit. Plus like it was said above forums are more than just a place for devs to post, which they should regardless but whatever.
