After playing the ME games since the series came out and also dragon age series, Personally i felt that the ME3 romances where amazing but lacked a feeling of fulfillment, soo as an idea that happened after hitting my head on a wall like a krogen for days since thinking hurts, hoping it would add more detail for the way you end the game and feeling for it. Would you say starting a family or having a child with your romance partner would add more detailed game-play or just a silly out come on the romance? Feedback would be nice just to think i'm not going silly with ME3 addiction or anything

Because having kids in games doesn't sound very appealing....Nor fun for that matter

You dont have to look after them or anything, also it would add some more detail to why you chose your partner etc.

Well that's a great plan and I don't know if that would be a good thing for an expeditionary sort of fella that you'll be playing in ME:A i see you enjoyed me3 and i appreciate your reasoning very much even more so that your reasoning helped explain your point of view and it really would help elaborate on the ending of the game being a cumulation of choice in the players favor; i really like this idea I really, do as it would help drive the plot that, the player opened, up with their choices to a : fulfilling conclusion witch even more so helps drive that narrative point I was talking about earlier ; no doubt it could be corny and, silly, but I don't think it would be ; unprecedented, after all; it did happen in Balder's Gate.

Yeahhh why not!

As long as I can pick eye color, gender, disposition, and they better not be smart mouths, I'd totally spring for "Progeny DLC simulator". I never played any SIMs game so this would give me a little taste.

I think this is one of the best ideas that I've seen on this forum yet!  Bring it on Bioware!

My characters often aren't very interested in creating spawn. So I definitely wouldn't want the forced application of kids to romances.

No worries, I'm sure there is some kinda "medigel birth control" option.

Right? But then the next thing you know, one of them gets knocked up and the other two drop out of high school and you're stuck explaining to the world why you didn't use protection.

Lmao, I love that movie btw

That idea is so dumb it hurts me to think someone actually came up with it.

Imagine having babies with that Asari with eyebrows...

I don't want no hairy babies!

I'm not opposed, and in Andromeda it would make sense given that you arrive with a very small number for a comletely unknown new world. It would be of interest ot procreate.

That said, I wouldn't want it in unless its made properly.

Oh how will I miss this Sims crowd. Not.

Get a life. Or a dog at least. In worst case play Sims. Whether you are trolling or just being a creep, just keep this crap out of action games.

Ah, it does feel good to finally take advantage of my unused warning slots in these last days.

Best left to head canon, I think. You could have some dialogue with the LI talking about the possibility, though even that can seem a bit abrupt in the limited time a single game offers to develop the relationship.

In some sort of epilogue scene (or  head canon), sure. But not during the main game.

I'm not interested in having kids in this game. To clarify- I think the idea of Ryder and her partner talking about their future, including having kids, is a great idea and I think would be fun. But actually having kids in-game is a terrible idea.

Now, having a mission where maybe you discover you have a child that was cloned from your DNA for experimentation might be cool, but other than that, no, no kids. It's an exploration and combat RPG- babies don't really fit into that.

Why not? I've never seen a rule book that says you can't roleplay having a child.

Having confidence that Bioware can do it convincingly is another thing, but at all I don't see why it couldn't be a element.
