It's been awhile but something about how he is a great man. Maybe I'll replay it soon and let you know before the forums close. Unless someone else does

In the redeemer worldstate (my canon) she says the Landsmeet was wrong to side against him and that he was a hero. She also says he was right to save his own men at Ostagar. Cailan overextended his position and the signal came too late. She also says Leliana told her not to talk about it since it's an unpopular opinion. This is likely why no one has anything to say about her if she dies in Haven.
I don't remember her saying anything about Loghain making the Ultimate Sacrifice. So I assume her lines are generic for all worldstates.

It isn't hard to check for yourself. Threnn is near the beginning of the game. Just import the proper worldstate and pick a default Herald on Easy.
Right, because changing your Keep, then playing a new playthrough up until that point is totally faster/easier than just typing a sentence on the forum and waiting...

And I certainly would have, but I've lost my DAI copy.
But that's fine, I'll get another once I finally upgrade to the PS4.

Also maybe someone just remembered... we're here to talk to other fans, not beat people up for not playing the game 60 times and being unknowing

So much for that.
In fact... the codex "The Fifth Blight: A study" doesn't mention him either. The HoF still is the one that is remembered the most.

Even Warden Alistair was given only honorable mention; when we talk to him he's like, "Yes, I was that celebrity's friend" hahaI was mostly curious to know whether Morrigan's claim that a Warden who survives without doing the DR will be overshadowed by the one that gives his life to slay the archdemon.

I'm not sure how that example applies. If you got to meet Alistair, that means the Warden is the one that finished off the archdemon.
Regardless, I've never seen Alistair complain about the HoF's fame. The closest thing to that is his sarcasm when the Inq. asks him about the final battle in the Fifth Blight.
"I'll be answering that question for the rest of my life. Yes, it was biiig, the Hero of Ferelden was braaave... but that was 10 years ago."
And as made it clear, he just doesn't like being asked about it all the time.

I figured it was just a question that was bothering Qun at work and they couldn't get to it anytime soon.
Possibly.
Also maybe someone just remembered... we're here to talk to other fans, not beat people up for not playing the game 60 times and being unknowing
I didn't mean it that way. Just pointing out the faster and more certain way to find out. I did answer part of his question, after all.
I was mostly curious to know whether Morrigan's claim that a Warden who survives without doing the DR will be overshadowed by the one that gives his life to slay the archdemon.
Of course not. People still remember Loghain for what he did in Ostagar. His death simply made up for it. And it isn't like people knew the circumstances of his death. Meaning, they don't know that he killed the Archdemon by sacrificing his own soul. People probably think he slayed it but perished from too many wounds sustained during the battle.
So yeah, Morrigan's claim is just an attempt to appeal to vanity.

What does she say in a world state where he became a Grey Warden and lived on/ Sacrificed himself (redeemer ending)?
In my worldstate where Anora ruled with Alistair, Loghain was recruited and the Warden did the Dark Ritual;
Threnn: I served Loghain Mac Tir, best commanding officer the world has ever seen. After they all turned on him in Denerim though, there wasn't much use for people who held that opinion. Queen Anora knew I supported her father and got me a job away from all the political garbage.
Inquisitor: I hear that Loghain became a Grey Warden after the Blight ended.
Threnn: A "mercy" they called it, serving the order they say he betrayed. He could have lead Ferelden to greatness, but now he lives in exile, fighting darkspawn until the day he dies.
(Is it weird that I've replayed DAI enough times now to have memorised entire conversations?) ![]()

I've been playing DAO the most lately. And after having heard the dialogue so many times, I barely pay attention when the party members talk.

My Dwarf Inquisitor BJ calls him a traitor and when Threnn asks if she was at Ostargar I think she almost slips at this point after all--------she killed Loghain and still loathes him after 10 years has past. ![]()
Yes,BJ is indeed the long lost HoF Rikku.
