Hi guys,

i love dragon age inquisition and i want more games like this (playing on ps4).

Do you know more games like this?

I don't like 'The Witcher' because you can't create your own hero and

there are no classes...

Any advice?

By similar to DAI you mean custom hero and dark fantasy? In that case you can try:

  • Skyrim will release for PS4 soon I think.
  • The Elders Scrolls Online, I haven't played it but it should be similar to Skyrim also being a MMO it will have lots of fetch quest just like DAI (sorry I couldn't resist :P).
  • Divinity: Original Sin is also similar but is a turn based RPG.
  • Bloodborne
  • Dark Souls 2
  • Sword Coast Legends

If you don't mind futuristic setting then you have:

  • Mass Effect: Andromeda which will be released next year.
  • Fallout 4.
  • The Technomancer, this is limited to male only I think.

I don't remember any other RPG with character creation but there should be more for sure.

I don't think Divinity: Original Sin or Sword Coast Legends are available for PS4, although I think the latter is going to be ported at some stage.

If you have a tablet or phone as well as a PS4 you could give the Baldur's Gate enhanced editions a try? I'm afraid I don't know much about console cRPGs.

Also Skyrim is nothing like DAI either.

I'd say Kingdoms of Amular.

Yes they are both available for PS4 although I think only through playstation store. Don't know the quality of the port though.

I was listing RPG games with character creation so I thought Skyrim suited the op's request. Skyrim is more action oriented though as well as Dark Souls and Bloodborne.

I didn't know Kingdoms of Amalur was available for PS4 too, in that case add it to the list :) .

Divinity original sin is a must. Plays great on the PS4, my GOTY last year. It has the best combat system i have ever played.

Clearly they ported them while I wasn't looking! Thanks for the correction.

Just to provide another opinion: after hearing a lot of good things about Divinity: Original Sin I was disappointed when I actually played it. The combat system is interesting and there are a lot of different ways to develop your builds, but I found the plot and characters paper thin. Obviously lots of people love it, but I still haven't managed to finish the whole campaign. (I still backed the sequel on Kickstarter though, because it looks like they're moving in a more BioWare-esque direction with the writing. Plus, they're adding playable dwarves, and I'm easy like that.)
