According to the Bioware Blog this forum will be closed indefinitely this month. Read it here:

Bioware stated that they're developers these days spend more time on other sites and less time in here.

 

 

My question is, where will most of you go to stay involved with the Dragon Age series?

Been coming and going to BW forums since "Baldur's Gate"... closing them just splitters a community that has been ripped apart twice before. Go where now? that horrid forum format of Reddit (no thank you). Facebook ? Twitter ? YT, equally bad, advertising hubs without a soul. The BW forums weren't perfect, but they were a central meeting point, a nexus for the entire community. This move just splitters and devalues the fan base. BW just became a faceless brand name after a decade and a half of trolling this company's forums /sadface... it now comes to a sad end. Will not be going anywhere else, just moving on. Thank god, Obsidian, CDPR,  Bethesda and other major companies aren't this foolish or dismissive.

Most of us have gone to bsn.boards.net

There is a smaller DA fan Base at a board called realdragonagefans too

I agree it's heartbreaking to see BW do this to fans who spent hard earned dollars to buy they're games. The least they could do to show genuine appreciation is keep this forum open. I hope you change your mind and keep supporting the DA community some place else (hint, hint, BSN). lol

Thanks for providing the BSN link. Hopefully I will find many of the current members of this forum at BSN or one of the other forums listed by Lady Artifice.

 

 

 

I have only been a member here just over a week but the family atmosphere I find here is just amazing and I appreciate the feedback I received from all of you as well as members Tchos, Lady Honor and MerAnne. 

 

I have signed up over at BSN and will check out other DA related forums as well. I hope to find you all somewhere in cyberspace. May you be well and continue to support DA wherever you find yourselves beyond here. I appreciate you.
