I'm having a hard time with the colossus geth that repairs itself during Tali's mission. Anyone has any tips on how to beat him/this section?

Kill the shields - after you done that, you have 2 choices, pick a sniper rifle, SMG or assault rifle with fire ammo and fire till you run out of ammo, or pick a grenade launcher or the collector laser and fire at will. If you don't have heavy weapon ammo research done yet you will probably run out of ammo before its dead though.

Depending on your class everything that involves fire destroys armor, and if its at 50% you can kill it with the heavy weapon (grenade launcher) easily.

Also, if its regenerating don't stop shooting, if you have a tactical nuke launcher you might want to use that ;p (But here you have to be very careful not be too close and you will have to charge it up quite a while....)

Missile Launcher him to death. It's like 9 missiles or so.

I used overload+drone(Engineer) to kill it from the left flank.

It wasn't that hard with Krogan and Miranda with me.

I just crouched and used overload and drone whenever I could.



Thing is.. I never saw it repairing itself.

Lucky me? .. or was I that fast =)
