I just equipped my favorite front tank dwarf with a ring of freedom of movement, and I was wondering if that newly acquired property of his wasn't showing/written somewhere, in his character sheet for instance, to make sure he didn't have it already, beside that duplicate warning which I barely ever see anyway...

Thanks.

Yes, select the character, and right-click-hold either on that selected character or somewhere on the ground where there isn't anything to click on, and choose "Examine" from the menu.  It should pop up a description window instead of the character sheet, and the current effects should show at the bottom.

Beautiful.
All the companion's infos I needed, not to mention that "Examine" menu's got other interesting features as well.

Long time no play, 'forgot some of it obviously, yet enjoying every second of that ancient but greatest game.

Merci again.

Also listed at the bottom of the character sheet - you need to scroll down. I think Tchos' way may only work on single player, for what it's worth.

Improved evasion and Saving throws do, but Freedom of mouvement only shows with Tchos's way. Mac guy here, Atari version, 'might be a part of the problem.

It's not just the Mac.  I'm on PC, and gave myself some special boots to test just now.  With the character sheet, the Status block at the bottom shows only "Hasted", but with the examine window it says "Hasted, Skill increased, Charisma increased, Immunity: Paralysis, Immunity: Slow, Immunity: Entangle, Immunity: Movement speed decrease."
