Hello everyone,

Just thought I would share with you a few early toolset screenshots of a new town tileset I happen to be working on.

It's very early days so far and it only contains the two different types of terrain (building and cobble). The plan is to keep adding more tiles and variations before moving on to additional terrain/features or groups.

All the models were created by me (besides a tree that I took from Six's Wildlands set and added new foliage and edited ever-so slightly - cheers for your great work by the way). The textures are from various different sources but they have all been edited to suit my needs. The models have much higher poly counts than the vanilla NWN tiles, but they are relatively the same as much of the other popular custom tilesets out there. Most tiles have a polycount somewhere between the 1000 to 1800 range.

Hopefully, once I have a few more variations created, I will upload a beta to the Vault. It would be great if anyone could offer some feedback and report any bugs (of which I am pretty sure there are many). As it stands the tileset is relatively useless for module builders as it lacks variation and features.

Once I have enough different tiles, the plan is to create a raise/lower function and perhaps Alleyways after that. Anyway, it would be great to know what everyone thinks.

Also, a big thank you to everyone on this forum, without all your advice I doubt I would ever have got far. Hopefully when the forums close down all this knowledge will be preserved fro future aspiring builders. This is my first proper attempt at custom content and I was kind of learning max and photoshop as I was going. It's amazing what skills I have picked up just from trawling through the discussions on here - again I couldn't have done it without you guys!!!!

Looks great ! Keep it up. The narrow streets give it a certain feeling... (good thing).

I love this tileset. It is the kind of City tileset I have been needing/wanting for my campaign. If there is something I can do to help with this just let me know, because I really want to use this.

Edit: I really love the looks of the textures, might I ask where they came from?

The more I look at the screenshots I can tell where some of the texture came from but not all of them.

Oh, my god! That looks amazing! It's a mixture of the look of medieval city and baba's errr... can't remember the name... a small tileset with insanely great textures... Please, make a city override!

That would be really nice to see an override for the standard city tileset that looks like this.
