I know this has been done already, maybe too much. I am working very hard to get my editing chops up though, and this seems like a good project to do that. For the fan enjoyment I have tried to pick the least traveled road I can in terms of character development and story presentation. This is no simple capture project. Each episode contains hundred of cuts, each one edited to the bone, reworked, rearranged and re -re-ed. Conversations are reworked, and sound is remastered. Where the game breaks the linear flow, I am trying to re work it. I always try to capture peripheral scenes as well to show off the games finer points that may mostly go unnoticed but are great little bits themselves. The first one is a little straight down the line, and not as good because I was trying to figure the best ways to present it, and struggling with capture issues, and a very inadequate camera control. BTW. Thanks X-Pan for the cinema mod, but if anyone knows how to help me set up a freecam with a fixable camera position while maintaining the ability to control the character I would love the help. Cam panning with Keyboard is also a must. Variable speed is asking too much, but if I could get it, I would take it with groveling.
The challenges as they are though are welcome, because after all, this is a production lesson and obstacles are what make us grow.
I intended to carry this all the way to the end of Mass Effect 3 and if I'm good enough, hopefully it will generate interest in Andromeda before it launches.
Please enjoy, and feel free to honestly critique. This will help me reach professionalism quickly.
