I installed Mass Effect 2 last night, and entered all my redemption and registration codes. According the the My Games section on my profile page, Dragon Age shows up as registered, but not Mass Effect. The weird thing is that under Mass Effect 2 - PC, it says "Click here to remove registration." So obviously I've registered, but why isn't it showing up?

The other problem is that with the DLC, I still have the option to download all of Cerberus-related stuff, but I've already done it. Does that mean it didn't install properly? I can put on the Blood Dragon armor, so I'm assuming things worked, but with the other DLC, how can I tell if it downloaded correctly? Why couldn't Bioware have used the same download interface they did with Dragon Age? Posted Image Would be much less confusing.

Thanks!

I noticed the same thing. I registered my Digital Deluxe Edition of ME2 (got it via Steam) last night, along with all the DLC and Cerberus codes, yet only DA:O shows up under 'My Games'. And yes, I can also see 'Remove Registration' under the register game list.

Just out of curiosity, since it sounds like you did everything similar to me, has your DLC been locked because you're unable to access the Cerberus Network? Like I mentioned, I used my Cerberus code, along with the promotion codes, on this site to redeem them. However, Cerberus won't activate in-game, despite being logged in, because the code is already used!

Grimvir, it's really odd. I used all my codes, as you did, on this site to redeem them, and have also noticed the same problem you have. Why do all of the instructions I've found for Cerberus, though, say to input your codes on this site, and not through the game? I'll be pretty p'od if my codes are all considered redeemed, then!

Grimvir, when you start Mass Effect 2, do you see the Cerberus computer open on the right hand side of the screen, next to the "computer" that gives you the options to Load Game, New Game, etc? According to the EA website, that means Cerberus is enabled. Mine at least is doing that, so I'm assuming I've registered that code properly. I'm still confused as to why my profile doesn't show me as registered for the game, and it's still giving me the option to download the other DLC items.

I'm not able to find the "load profile" from ME1, can anyone point me in the right direction?

I'm trying to remember off the top of my head, since I'm at work... but I think the game auto-logs into my EA online account (which is linked with this one) and on the right-hand side, there's a computer with 2 buttons: 'Activate' and 'Cerberus Network'. Also, a pop-up window comes up before I click anything, listing all the DLC I've installed and telling me that I must activate Cerberus to unlock it. I've read somewhere that disabling auto login, restarting, and then relogging may solve the problem.

As for the profile thing, it's confusing me as well. One of the reasons for registering it under your profile is to have permanent access to the DLC. I've seen some people have no issues with this, yet I have no access to it. I've also read something concerning the order in which you load the game for the first time, then register the game and any additional promo codes. Can't remember which thread though...

Either way, there are a few mysteries here.

Well, yer all freakin' lucky because it's doing zip zero zilch at mine.

I entered the code as ordered but all I got is the connect key.

Clicking that it just says it's already in use. Nothing else than that.
Profile only says the game is regged, nothing else.

It 'does' say there's new content available though, and when I open the site it opens my profile showing... nothing at all...

Hell, the REDEEM CODE function says the code doesn't exist/isn't legal whatever.

Edit:
If this ain't fixed I'm getitng my money back, one way or another.

Ah, I missed this post. Thanks, that solves the mystery of "Where is my DLC?".

I've been seeing posts on how our Cerberus problem has been solving itself... perhaps the Bioware servers are simply being bombarded with traffic. It could be related to the game registering issue as well.

OK, finally got the Cerberus Network working, along with my DLC. I made sure the Auto-Login feature was disabled, restarted, clicked on Connect (Cerberus Terminal button), then used my Bioware account instead of my EA one. Since all the promo codes where activated on this site, they were being associated with this account. My EA account had no knowledge of me using them.

So make sure to double check which account you used to activate which codes. Hopefully you didn't use both!

Ok, well it seems at least you can get into the game, I unfortuneately decided to download the extra content first without starting up the game. After that I go to hit play and get you must register first (ea i'm assuming). I think no problem, pull up the email with the registration key, copy and past it into the code and then, this code has been used already please check to see if you entered it correctly. I can't play, it won't let me get by that initial set up of registering the game.

Very frustrating.

Ok I finally got all of my DLC fixed I went onto the EA website and went into the Live Chat system and got treated very well by a listener call Karl so if you are still having trouble and havent tryed the live chat system yet I would strongly recommend it. The first time I tried it said there were no agents available so I thought to myself this will never work so tryed it again an finally got into contact with this agent Karl and he was actually very helpful he fixed all my dlc problems within about 10 minutes.

I don't know why my profile on this site still isn't showing that I've registered the game, but it looks as though the DLC installed properly in my game. Cerberus network works as well as everything else. If you look in the drive where you've installed the game (i.e. go to Windows Explorer if you're on a PC like me) and there should be a file in the Mass Effect 2 folder called DLC. If you've installed the content correctly, you should see three files--that's the DLC.

Still don't know what's up with the Bioware site, but whatever; at least the damn game seems to be working. Be nice if Bioware could develop a better way of doing this!
