I plan on buying an xbox one and then getting dragon age inquisition game of the year edition and I was wondering if the dlc came on the disc and would be downloaded that way or be a digital code that would be redeemed. Or would it just be on the disc already and not need anything special. And does it have all the updates as well. I would like to wait to get xbox live gold for a bit and using the free one for a month or two. But if I need it for the updates then I will buy it with the xbox live gold.

On PC the DLCs are all downloads. Dunno about consoles, but I think they're the same.

Digital--redeem the code for the DLC. Any updates or patches should automatically download when you put the disc in the console.

You do not.

so I don't need it to get all the dlc and stuff on the game of the year addition and the updates for the game. Do you know if I would need xbox gold to have the usual updates to the console

You do not.

You only need gold if you want to play multiplayer.

Thanks man I aprreciate the help. I am buying a refurbished xbox one and DAI game of the year edition and I can't really drop alot of money at once so this helps. ANd I don't play multiplayer that much if at all so no big deal on that. Hey are the BSN replacement site free and is it just as easy to set up a new account?

No problem. BSN replacement is free to sign up for and creating an account is easy.

did they ever say why the are canceling it? It can't be that expensive or time consuming.

Eh, they gave a not very good reason in my opinion. Basically said the devs don't like to spend time here anymore and would rather use twitter, reddit, or tumblr. :/
