I know you can get scars in the character creation thing on xbox one and you can't on xbox 360. But how much better is the graphics on xbox one and does it get rid of that shiny black hair thing. And is there anything else. Like less glitches or more realistic cut scenes that aren't weird. Like how sometimes when they talk it doesn't match with the voice. Little stuff like that

Even on PC the Hair is shiny lol. I don't think its much of a difference. If i recall.. wasn't Inqusistion made around the time Xbox one came out? so you'd think the Graphics are meant for that, but they didnt wanna cut fans outta the picture so they gave it to them on 360. at least imo.

Graphics are much better on current gen (though still clearly held back for a semblance of last gen parity. For example, lack of good hair and cloth physics). Seriously, like night and day better. Everything else basically the same.

 

Descent and Trespasser DLCs have more enemies on screen and more verticality than the base game on either gen, since they're current gen only.

yeah but on xbox 360 it was like they put black shoe polish on it and put it under a bright light. alot of hair styles were too stupid to have for that reason.

It's still very shiny on Xbox One and sometimes looks a bit more blue than black, unfortunately. Some shots:

I did have thread that collected all bugs, clitches and differences XBOX360 version had, but it was nuked when Bioware removed feedback section. I also played on PS3 and now on PS4 myself, but if I remember right issues on XBOX360 are quite similar as in PS3:

 

- Character texture quality is lot lower as well as some details. It varies a lot, but environments in general are quite pretty and characters aren't. There is lot of textures not loading at time during cutscenes so you see eyebrownless character. Also for some reason Dorian'ss moustache seems to became his nose hair on older gen consoles quite lot.

 

So basically characters will look like this from time to time (my pic from PS3):

 

 

- Hair is lot shinier and plastic like on older gen consoles, also quality of textures is worse. No scars.

 

- EDIT: There is lot less details as well, for example less NPC's you can't interact with so world looks emptier.

 

- Everything stopped being supported at summer 2015 on older gen consoles. Lot of patching that introduced things like allowing you to change Skyhold outfit aren't available on XBOX360. So you are missing later added features. These aren't crucial, but can be aesthetically big thing- many didn't like beige pyjamas after all.

 

-> They will keep multiplayer on old gen consoles running, but they don't support it similarly anymore as in adding new maps and features. It is like it was on summer 2015 then they stopped patching everything on older consoles.

 

- Game might have problems running. Users reported issues with saves being corrupted and also hard freezes on older gen consoles. I had hard freeze pretty much everytime I played on PS3 which meant that I had to restart whole system and restore it before playing again.

 

- You won't have access to Trespasser DLC- which is epilogue of DAI- and The Descent DLC- dwarf stuff-. Trespasser is seen pretty important DLC and is very liked so not being able to play it on old gen consoles sucks.

 

 

That was everything I remembered. If you have option of play with XBONE I'd wholeheartedly encourage you to take that instead, but game is not unplayable on XBOX360 either.. in most of cases. It's just less pretty, lot more buggy and missing stuff.

The game being great versus the game being sort of shitty. I originally played (and beat) the game on PS3 so it is doable, but you should definitely go with XBONE if it's an option for you. It's like night and day.

360 was awful. Save your money and get xbox1 or pc. You cant get trespasser on 360 and its the main reason i replay the game
Google disc is unreadable- i treated the disc like it was made if glass and yet i got this message. Didnt happen on my dao/da2 copies which still work today.
I loved the game that i bought it on a high end pc after with all dlc
If you are wirried about cost then i would wait until you have the funds
Trespasser is mandatory dlc . Its the final chapter of a good story

I already played it on 360 but was wondering the difference. And if those pics of the hair are accurate they are WAY better then 360. Several hair styles that I would normally prefer (especially with the qunari) are unusable because of how horrible that is. Add that it throws the texture out (think that's the right word) of wack. And yes it's a big deal. When it comes to games that are in third person what then main character looks like is important. Especially if the characters are creatable like in daI
