So I've done a lot of play throughs now and just noticed when i killed the Sandy Howler that his skull and what looks like 6 dragon eggs appear (non lootable of course)

 

Now i have not played the expansions yet so don't say anything if they are related.

 

Just wondering what people think of these eggs.

 

I would think this means dragons will be living on?  Perhaps a DA 4?

You don't kill off the entire species in DAI. The species breeds like rats. They will definitely return.

Fixed. All dragons with wings are female. Don't look for some hidden meaning in those eggs. They are just the unborn offspring of the dragon you just killed.
