Since forums going out, nice time to reflect on BW's technical competence.

First, despite their apparent convenience, many of their features, to me at least, haven't stood the time well. BW points for example are showing their stuck in time feel. Second. ME2's Cerberus Network feature, while it worked as intended during the game's main lifetime. But once past that, after final DLC, Arrival, it began malfunctioning, best action was to stop in from logging in when starting game, after that no problems.

Regarding Origins, why create so confusing patching system for DLC in it. For comparison, Neverwinter Nights had decent in-game patch system which for some reason stopped accepting the last released patch, always got stuck at certain point. Had to manually load and install the final patch.

Finally, not a serious one but funny. Back in days of Baldur's Gate I, game had funny hd installation bug. It claimed not being able to install to hd past 10gig capacity or such, despite knowing you had bigger than that hd. Still, if you just let it continue, game installed just fine.

I'll bet I could still CtD Mass Effect 2 on PC if I try to reassign the power keys while pausing with the tactical menu.
