 Sorry if this has already been asked and if there is another thread about it, but I swear I cannot find the search button on these forums

Is there a list of all of the possible upgrades you can get for your weapons, ship, armor, biotic, tech, and squad? I am tying to be very thorough in my searching and I just want to make sure I haven't missed anything.

I think you'll be disappointed to learn that there aren't that many to begin with, I am a loot hound too and I've been hearing/reading that loot, upgrades, armor and weapons are VERY limited in this game. I appreciate their efforts to do away with inventory micro-management but using the same weapons and armor for most of the game, and removing the fun of finding new gear, has killed the experience for me slightly.

No kidding. At least give us more cosmetic options. I really don't like the look of default items. It bugs me that I'm about 5 hours into the game and 3 of my 5 weapons are the ones I started with. Also, do different weapons do different amounts of damage or are the only differences ammo and RoF?

If your playing on hardcore since the start, right before you find Tali on her recruitment mission, next to some "spare parts" you'll find a usable Geth pulse rifle that does extra dmg vs. sheilds and biotic barriers.

I hear you. Changing the armor color only takes you so far, now I would like to change more than 2 pieces of armor in the first 10 hours. On that note, I found all the loot on Omega and The Citadel. Where is the next hub for stores and clubs?

Illium, Tuchanka, Side missions/loyalty missions also yeild upgrades aswell as recruitment missions.
