Ok, I'm starting to get a little paranoid about the lack of a UK preorder option for the retail boxed copy of awakening, none of the major UK stores seem to have it.

I noticed that steam has now got an option to preorder, but you must have bought DA:O from them to buy awakening pack, since I purchased the ce retail version I'm stuck up a certain river without the paddle.

Any info?

All I can suggest is continue to check GAME(and by extention Gameplay/Gamestation)/Play/Amazon or where ever you prefer to buy games.



They could just not be opening preorders right now or EA haven't released any information to them. Don't worry, you've still got ~7 weeks until release.

Yeah - tried GAME yesterday, and all they said was 'what expansion!'. Good eh.

Amazon and HMV both have the 360 and PC versions. The PS3 one is nowhere to be seen though.

I've not looked around for it (I prepurchased the Steam version last friday, yay for £20 I won't get a return on for 7 weeks), but if Amazon and HMV are starting to take pre-orders then I would assume that EA have rolled out (or are currently rolling out) the information to it for stores.



If GAME is your preference (for the reward points or something else), then I would probably just keep checking every so often. They're bound to open preorders soon if HMV/Amazon are.

I am pre-ordering for 16.99 quid from amazon uk.

Play has it as well for the same price if I remember correctly.

16.99 pounds is about 27-28 dollars, so what was all this fuss about the expansion being too expensive?

The original game is like £15 more on the X-BOX/PS3 than the PC. Makes you wonder, considering the PC has all the extra mods and toolset features.

I'm going to pre-order it, definitely. But I'm waiting to see what the pre-order bonuses are, if they are.
