TYhis is the topic to post if you survived the sucide mission. I my self did it and no one died. So who else has survived and did any of your team die?

How long did it take you? I am ~25 hours in and just getting ready to explore the derelict Reaper.

My first play through with the ME2 paragon shep (couldn't figure out how to convert my ME1 guy initially) was finished in I think 25 hours. Everyone loyal except Miranda, all ship upgrades, most personal upgrades. Lost Thane and Legion but everyone else made it.



I'm actually curious how you die, that was a pretty quick play through with minimal casualties.

Here's my question: I haven't beaten it yet, but I know the crew gets kidnapped and I know you need to start the mission right away to save the, I don't have Legion yet either. Is there time to get him loyal before you go rushing after the crew?

Legion's loyal mission comes avable after you get the Reapers IFF. Talk to him to get his mission then quickly do his mission. After that go to the galaxy map and your crew will be kidnapped, you can then go right through thew Omega 4 relay and rescue your team.

One of the ways is that if everyone on your team dies, when Shepard grabs onto the ship, Joker tries to save Shep[ard but Joker gets injured and Shepard lets go so Joker can leave.

What I dont understand is that I took some time to get ship upgrades and work on loyalty, and when I got to the base Chambers and Gabby died. how do you change this? Do you somehow get all the upgrades before the Collectors raid the Normandy?

Once the crew is kidnapped, if you don't go through the relay right away, crew members start dying.

Well, if you put it that way what ship upgrades are the most important? Just the shields, thick hull and lasers right?

ENDING TIP:



Legion's Team-mate quest should be the LAST thing you do in the game. After that, you can only do his Loyalty mission and THATS it. Anything after that, people start dying.

ALL ship upgrades are important.  Even if its something like buying the new lab or buying more Probes.

No, not true. The probe upgrade/fuel upgrades are only for exploration, they have ZERO impact on the mission.

You need to upgrade your ships weapons, armor and shields. The other ship upgrades are only for exploring. Also if you don't want your kidnapped crew mates to die, do Legions loyal quest right after you recruit him. After you do his quest the crew will be kidnapped and you can then go throught the Omega 4 relay. Also regardless of Loyalty squademates can still die. You need to select the right squademates for certain jobs (picking Thane to open the door results in his death, making Jack lead the diversion team results in her death ect)

I've tried doing Legion's loyalty quest right after I got him, But he usually doesnt talk until I've done something else after I rebooted him.

For some reason, I got everyone loyal and made all of the ship upgrades and I still lost Legion. (I made him the tech guy in the first part of the suicide run and his robot brain got sniped as the door was closing. I admit, it didn't feel like a big loss. Then, I realized I was never going to find out why Legion had that piece of Shep's armor. Maybe that individual Geth body had some form of individual notions of what it wanted.



Damn you, Bioware. Stop making me feel guilty for losing a hive-mind robot.

Didn't use an escort... I regret it because my kidnapped crew died. I completed the game in 22 hours and one minute. Everyone was loyal.

only chakwas survived, and my squad, all in all, Epic, although shepard didnt shout "TALI!" when he dived for her and saved her, but all in all, i ended the way i wanted, and the reapers at the end has me wanting to play mass effect 3 even more

It is not hard. As long as you do Legions quest after you get the reapers IFF before the crew is kidnapped you can go right through the Omega 4 relay to save them. Also this is how my team was organsied and everyone was loyal.

door opener: Legion
Strike leader: Miranda
Biotic protector: Samara
crew member guard: Grunt
Diversion team leader: Garrus

I brought Miranda and Mordin with me to vs the human-reaper and everyone survived, including my kidnapped crew.

what did you assign people to do for the different parts of the last mission when you had to split your squad? I lost thane after he got out of the tubes.....shot right in the face.

Also if Jacob is the Biotic protector he will run out of juice which results in one of your squademates in your party diying
