I survived and only lost Mordin. Question is, I don't know why? Does my paragon need to complete or what?

Maybe next game ill be allowed to control the flow rather then being force fed it from start to finish by devs.

I lost two...Samara and Legion



I had Legion as Tech Specialist, Samara as the Squad Leader both times. I had Jack as the Biotic and Jacob as the Escort.



I'm guessing Samara wasn't the one to lead and to be honest it makes sense now. I thought over 1000 years of experience would be good but of course most of that was done alone.

Anyways, Insanity vanguard. Survived, with everyone alive (evidently).



Tali as tech, Garus as Leader #1, Mirander as Leader #2, Samara as Biotic Spec, Garrus to escort Doc to ship.

My guy survived...though the crew took many casualties.



Of the abducted, only Chakwas survived.



Legion: Vents (Deceased)

Thane: Crew Escort (Deceased)

Grunt: Diversionary Leader (Deceased)

Miranda: Squad Leader (Deceased)



Had loyalty on Grunt and Legion.



At least the others survived...and I think those four died in ways they would have wanted.

I'm so freakin frustrated about this now.  I've tried all possible combinations with my tech specialist and they die every time.

I have done all the loyalty missions successfully and kept everyone loyal through the confrontations such as Miranda and Jack or Tali and Legion, exhausted all dialogue with all crew members.  I have all the upgrades suggested by each squad member.  I have ship fully upgraded.  I even went out and bought the Collector's Strategy Guide to make sure I had all the loose ends tied up and after reading it there were none.  So I decided to do all the N7 side missions.  This maxed out my level and gave me all possible upgrades on top of all the ones that can be store bought.  So i spent several hours gathering resources so i could upgrade everything.  I have literally done everything I can to prepare for the suicide mission. So why does my techie die.

I thought Legions would be best being a Geth so his tech skills would be better than any organic, but he dies.
Than I tried Tali figuring that she'd be the next best choice.  Dead.
Next I tried Mordin since he is both a scientist a member of the Salarian Task Force.  Dead.
I tried the others knowing they'd die being less astute to tech. Dead

I have had no problems getting to each valve in time. Trying both the rush the button or clear all enemies then use button strategies resulting in the same.

What am I doing wrong? How do I stop my techie from being missle faced?

Also does Kelly being liquified affect the No One Left Behind achievement?

Also I just recently started my Renegade run through.  Is there a way for Shepherd being the last survivor? Or will he always fall to his doom?

Only Chakwas survived but none of my party died, still got the achievement:

Vents: Tali
Secondary Squad Leader: Garrus
Escort Leader: Grunt
Diversion Leader: Miranda
Biotic Bubble: Jack
Final Battle: Tali, Mordin (they seem to die while holding the line)

Loyalty on all of them

Well **** then, everyone is dead lol. After my team got kidnapped I went to a few places to finish off side missions, made sure I had all of my assualt rifle upgrades and finished off one N7 mission. lmfao. Going to the final stages naoi.

From what I can tell, I don't think Mordin can hold the door. If you're not going to take him with you to the final battle, send him to escort the crew back. Either that or maybe you need to research his Omni-tool.

Entire crew saved, all squad members survived, Shepard survived.

Legion: tech specialist

Samara: biotic specialist

Miranda: first and second squad leader

Jacob: escorted the crew back to Normandy

Grunt and Jack: went with Shep

All squad members were loyal and I've researched all of their specific updates, as well as most of the weapon and armor updates.

Got all possible updates for Normandy.

I survived, but lost Mordin and Tali. I chose Mordin for the tunnels, because i remembered him saying he was a Special Task Group operative earlier. I was thinking of it as more of a stealth role than a tech role. My mistake.

I also picked Tali for the second squad both times, which was also a bad choice. I knew in the back of my head I should have picked Garrus or Miranda, but I wanted Tali to be more in the mission because she was my LI. I was really upset when she died.

I loaded up a save after that, and chose more logical choices, like Tali for the vents and Garrus for the squad leadership role. Second time everyone made it through. Felt kind of anticlimatic though, the mission was built up to be this huge suicide run, and then we all make it out.

So in order for my NPCs to survive I have to go threw the Omega 4 Relay after there abducted?



Again I did one N7 Mission and went to multiply cities in order to find all possible armor and weapon upgrades.

If you want all NPCs to survive then you HAVE! to do all side missions/resource hunting before getting Legion, the only thing you can do is Legion's loyalty mission before going through the Omega 4 relay.
Also don't make Mordin hold the line he has a high chance of dying. (I heard he gets shot while saying 'tell him I held the line)

I ended up sending Mordin back with the normandy crew, he survived.

36 hours to complete
Everyone, including my crew survived.
All loyalty quests done
Cheated on Ash with Miranda.

Started my second playthrough 15 minutes ago, going to stay loyal to Ash this time around.

AWSOME GAME, There is still stuff I want to do from my first save, misc N7 missions and stuff.

Well not everyone made it out on your first run, you had to make different decisions to get the ending you want.

Damn it, the only N7 Mission I didn't do was the Smuggler one because I was trying to find resources to up my Assualt Rifles and anything else. Damn it.

I survived, as did my whole Crew and Squad.

Tali was my tech specialist.
Garrus led both teams
Zaeed escorted the crew back
Samara was my biotic (she just about hung in there, I was quite concerned at the end)
Took Jack and Legion for the final battle.

Everyone survived. Everyone is loyal. The trick for me was to make sure everything was done before "getting on the shuttle" and starting my way to the whole final sequence/battle of the game. I'd recommend that to everyone.

Tali and Garrus were with me as A team. Miranda was put in command of B team. Legion was sent to the Vents and Grunt was sent as ideally the best muscle to escort the rescued crew back to the ship. Samara was my biotic protector for the A team.

Went romance with Tali all the way which is who I wish I could have gone for also in ME1 had the choice been there.

Fantastic game. I'm sad that I beat it.

Who was your Squad 2 leader? This can make or break whether your Tech survives.
