i got everyone to surviveon my first play through. i must say the ending was done real well also the companions.

I have enjoyed this game far more than ME1

First play through and only Jack died. On my 2nd play through Imma see if I can survive with only Garrus and Tali beeing loyal

Wait, you can die?
Everyone got through alive. Even Jack, despite her throwing a tantrum and not being loyal before we hit up the Omega 4 relay.

I survived. Everyone was loyal, but lost Zaeed (had him lead the the diversion team the second time), and all of my crew except Dr. Chakwas... Damn it was disturbing as hell seeing my beloved Kelly getting liquified =(

Same here. I was really happy to finish and not have lost any squad mates or crew members.

Finally managed to get everyone to survive the mission. Mordin always died on me but I found out that you needed to destroy the human-reaper as fast as possible.

one of the coolest effects ever was what happened if you hit it in the head with the Cain

Is that really it? My first attempt with thanks to the nuke was ridiculously fast and yet he was still the only one that died. Second attempt, I brought him with me to the final fight and no one was left behind.

I lived but lost Zaheed, Taylor and Mordin. I was pissed that Mordin died. I liked the little chatterbox and we kicked butt as a team. I'll have to reply it to see if I can keep him alive. The other 2 I didn't care about and sent them to there deaths.

and really, with what was at stake, it was the right decision for a commander to make

I finished it after 60 hours with no casualties in the end. It was a bittersweet ending. I was happy about the choices I had made as well as the survival of my entire crew, but sad that it was coming to an end (but happy again after it occurred to me I could just play it again ).

Legion got smoked for me when I sent him through the vents. He was loyal and everything.

needs to be loyal (not sure if he needs his sniper rifle)

and TeamLeader needs to be loyal: Garrus, Miranda or Jacob.

Also might be how quickly you do it. keep advancing over the cover... thats all i can think of.

Were they both loyal? I sent Tali and she did fine. It also may matter who lead your second squad. I got it to work with both Garrus and Samara leading the B team.
