oh yea survived. Tech specialist was Tali, 2nd squad leader was jacob, diversion team leader was garrus, and escort leader was Zaeed.

1st squad- Samara & Zaeed
2nd squad- Samara & Legion

How long did it take you? I am ~25 hours in and just getting ready to explore the derelict Reaper.

Completed the suicide mission, no casualties. Logged in at 32 hours, 50 minutes. There were a lot of side quests I didn't do, though.

Finished my first playthrough about ten minutes ago. Paragon mostly, some renegade. Everyone survive except Tali who died while trying to close the first door after we got through. Took a rocket to the face, pretty nasty.



Saved all my crew, Garrus escorted them back with no casualties. Had Miranda lead the diversion team while Samara held up the biotic shield all the way through and I took Thane and Mordin with me into the final fight. All squad members were loyal.



Not too bad if I do say so, but I like Tali a lot so I want to do it again and get everyone out alive. As far as I know I got every upgrade for the Normandy and for my squad and myself I could, with the exception of like the last upgrade to shotgun damage or something like that. Finished at about 33 hours.

Paragon ending, normandy crew saved, and teammates lived.

I had full crew loyalty.

My breakdown was:

Legion - Ducts
Garrus - 1st Fire Team Lead
Miranda - 2nd Fire Team Lead
Samara - Bioshield
Garrus - Escort

All survived.

During the first part, my teammates were Tali and Grunt. During the second, they were Tali and Legion. Total play time was: 33h 15m. The only things I know I missed were the Krogan Sushi bit and I forgot to report to the merchant and the scout leader during Grunt's loyalty mission. I also missed a few upgrades because I got too antsy mining and just moved on with the story.

Edit: Apart from Legion (turned him for bounty), I had full crew loyalty.

Finished my first play through last night using an me1 Shep import with Liara being my me1 LI.



After I got the cold shoulder from Liara (kiss to the terminus armor, than a big "hey go hack some stuff and tell me who to kill), I was annoyed and pursued my guilty pleasure (Tali's voice) as a LI. Success.



Endgame Part 1 - Garrus leads fire team 2, Legion in the ducts, took Miranda and Tali for my team. No deaths.



Part 2 - Garrus leads fire team 2, Samara escorts the one lone Normandy crew survivor (I was utterly clueless that there was a time factor in starting the suicide mission thus Chawkas was the only one left). SuZe was my biotic specialist. Once again Miranda and Tali were on my fire team. No deaths.



Part 3 - Again, Miranda and Tali. No deaths.



All in all I lost every crew member from the Normandy but Chakwas, but I was happy that not one squad member perished.

Here is my thoughts....



Tunnel: Legion or Tali. You need someone with hacking skills personally I send Legion hes a machine literally



Second Team Leader: Garrus; was in the military worked in C-Sec and led that mercenary squad on Omega



Biotic Shield: Jack; strongest known human biotic. It seems you can use Samara also I didnt personally...



Diversion Team: Garrus again.



Escort back to Normandy: I used Mordin why because he isn't straight up fighter....



Everyone survived and the entire crew (PC). I will admit this was my second playthrough. I played it on the 360 first and my crew died. Mordin also died.

Chakwas, Kelly and the Mess Cook guy lived. Zaeed died as my 2nd team leader. I had full loyalty of my squad+ Normandy upgrades.

The known constant of the least amount of loyal teammates needed is 4. However, there is a theory that you can survive the mission with only 3, but you will sacrifice the crew in doing so.

I'm thinking the tech specialist, the biotic specialist, the escort, and the squad leader need to be loyal.  Take the tech and biotic specialists with you to the final fight so they survive the fall.  That could theoretically account for everyone, unless it does a loyalty check for the rearguard during the last fight.  If that's the case, I have no idea.

I'm also assuming every member has their tech/biotic/weapon upgrades as well.

Did anyone manage to save that colonist, Lilith? Or is that impossible to do? Watching her get turned into liquid sure was intense and really set a dark light, makes you say "holy ****, wtf".

ok not sure if its valid but there may be other thing that will change the last mission. First, all of my team is loyal I sent Legion into the vent, and left some collectors alive, Legion died, I restarted changing nothing but thistime i killed all the collectors. Legion lived, can anyone tell me if this is valid?

The other big piece is not just loyalty, who leads, and ship upgrades, but also how fast you get to Omega after your crew disappears. If you do it IMMEDIATELY, you should be clear so long as you have your team up to snuff.

I find that who leave at the ground team makes a difference as well to survival, and how long it takes to kill the terminator. I mean human-reaper thing. Terminator.

Finished the Suicide Mission successfully. All teammates survived, Collectors destroyed, humanity saved.

Survived with everyone alive. I played as a Renegade, but destroyed the base any way.

I think i see what you mean. I have used legion every time to open the door, once he lived and once he died and both times he was the same level and loyal... Who Knows

I tend to use jack on my team in the swarm. Her shockwave (if Lv.4) cuth a husk in half and can hit alot... makes it easy
