Trying to get s straight answer on this. I have recruited everyone but legion, and finished all the loyalty missions. Not once have I gotten and dialogue options with Kelly that would advance a romace plot.

What am I missing?

I don't think you can. I'm pretty sure she's into you but she probably can't be romanced until DLC or ME3... and I flirted with her every time.

Yeah, there's no actual "romance" with Kelly in ME2. I'm thinking DLC or ME3, as Hokochu said.

Okay, folks, I have seen the scene on Youtube. You take her to dinner, and afterward you can ask her to feed your fish. All I want to know is how to trigger this scene.

You ask her to dinner, but there's no actual scene in your room or anything. And to get that option, you just keep flirting and talking with her. Do all possible dialogue options after missions.

It's pretty straightforward.

Lol that'd be amazing. The haircut of that Blue Suns(it was blue suns, right?) girl during The Archangel dossier was pretty kick***.

don't get me wrong when i say  the female shepard you can make in the editor is good but if you could make her more like kelly and miranda features together it would be awesome.

 While I did see the scene with Kelly on youtube, I got the dinner option too, but no scene whatsoever. You can invite your romance into your room however and let them sit on your lap or lie on bed with them like you see in that movie. Just haven't figured out how I can let Miranda dance like Kelly does in the movie yet...<_<

it's actually hard to find. Took me awhile, but you pick Let's Chat, and eventually, i can't remember all the options, but there's one that's called I'd Embrace you, and it starts the sorta romance, then the next time you chat with her i believe the invite to dinner comes up after you talk to her more.

That's strange. Did you also go through the 'other-topic' dialogue, or whatever it's called for her. Basically the dialogue that isn't opened up after missions?

Are you Renegade? I was a hybrid when I was given that option, so maybe it has to do with that.

edit: Yeah by other topics I mean the Let's Chat option the poster above me mentioned.

edit edit: Wow I just saw that dance scene and whatnot, is that only on the PC version?

Don't get it. Anyone have a strat guide that explains how to do this?

Did you get the "I'd embrace you" option mentioned earlier? Also, was that a yes on the you went through the Let's Chat dialogue?

The "let's chat" option is the only way you can talk to her most of the time. The I'd embrace you dialogue is in her normal investigate options. You can do it any time, and many times. Doesn't seem to get me anywhere.



Ah well, I give up.

If I recall correctly, Moneypenny never did that .

I was actually very pleased when Kelly started/responded to the flirting (the "embrace" response, plus some minor flirtation in my next chat with her - haven't visited her a third time yet).
I'm playing a FemShep and since I've read there's not supposed to be a whole lotta love from Liara in ME2 (and I actually had to download a savegame to get her at all, the default for a new non-imported game is Kaidan), I was otherwise looking at no love interests or flirtation at all in the game.
I'm a bit too (male/male) homophobic to even consider letting any of the guys in the game as much as think about making a pass at my FemShep <_<.

Holy SMOKES!!!!! Thanks for the share. Kelly is quickly becoming one of my favorites females in Mass Effect. Tali is my favorite, but Kelly isn't far behind. Ashley is 3rd due in part because she was my favorite of the two LI from ME1. I honesty hope we can get her as a love interest in ME3.

idk what i did but after i passed the game i got a message from "KellyGrrl" saying call me to your cabin, got to your cabin click invite kelly on the intercom and there you go, just flirt with her every chance you get

Everyone needs to stop assuming that just because you don't get a sex scene with her, then shes automatically ruled out as a LI

I was the same. Deliberately avoided a romance, flirted with Kelly, got her to dinner and to feed my fish, but no mail message after completing the game.

I found it sadly disappointing that there was no true romance with her, though. Frankly with all the flirting and especially the dinner, I felt more attracted to Kelly than to any of the actual love interests. It's nice to see a relationship actually include flirting and gasp - a date, sort of - before proceeding to anything straight up sexual.
