Well I am about 12 hours in, I have recruited the mercenary, archangel and the doctor so far. I have to say I am really enjoying the game, it is a lot of fun and the dialogue and storyline is superb. The graphics are also amazing. I like the ability to customize the look of ones armor as well and the upgrade system for the ship and weapons is pretty neat. I have to admit though I certainly miss the amount and variety of weapons, armor and equipable upgrades that were in Mass Effect 1. I liked sorting through all that loot finding the best stuff, for me its part of the RPG experience, I'm a bit of a packrat. I like the new system of equiping armor, how it is divided up into chest, legs, arms and so on but I wish there were a lot more armors and variety available to equip. That would be my main gripe about the game so far, everything else is, well, perfect, but the seemingly small amount of weapons and armor so far is a letdown. I think Mass Effect 2 would have been better with an inventory kind of like Knights of the Old Republic, were you go to the screen where you equip your items and you click on chest and it shows everything available for that equip slot. That would make inventory managing a lot easier and one could still have a lot of loot to pick up. I'm hoping there will be a different inventory setup and a lot more weapons and armor for Mass Effect 3. But other then that, I am having a blast and really love the Collectors Edition, Bioware you have made another awesome game!
