Why is it when I add a placable to my area it is overly bright and does not adhere to the lighting settings of the level. Is there a fix for this or not! It makes no sense as to wht they are like this and looks bloody awful.
Any ideas anyone?

How badly are they standing out? Worse, or similar to the main game?
Lighting is pre-baked into a level, so placeables aren't a part of that process. They are never going to blend in perfectly. Shadows from the level won't be cast on them, and the shadows they cast don't look as good. To some extent this was intentional, to make placeable noticable to the player.
Still, they shouldn't look terrible. If they are really glowing brightly there may be something wrong with the level lighting settings.
