Well, I was playing the card game with her and I was just skipping through the dialogue, but then she all of a sudden just disappeared and went somewhere. Any idea of where she is or if she will come back? I'm kind of itching to specialize as a duelist but this girl is nowhere to be found

Check your codex for the dialogue of theconversation you skipped. Maybe there is a hint there.

Doh that sucks. I played like 7 card games with her before I finally caught her. She never disapeared on me, then she trained me and I finally got to update my character with duelist. LOL.

argh I should have checked the convo log right after but it's long gone now. am i just never going to be a duelist now?

i used (dexterity) to see her cards and found her cheating on the first hand.. not sure why she disappeared..

I just used persuade and slept with her.

Got a save just before the event? Obvious choice would be to go back, no?

Strange. My first play through I had low dex, yet caught her first try. Now I have high dex and can't catch her. WTH? If you already unlocked it, this makes her always "win"?

I've had instances of teleporting npc's, where were your party members positioned when this occurred?



Sometimes if a party member is positioned near an npc, and you speak to another npc when your party teleports because of a conversation screen the npc they were near will teleport as well.



It might've worked in reverse this time, if they were positioned elsewhere go check the npc's near where they were standing. She might be hidden underneath one of them.

No, it doesn't.  If you have Zevran in your party (no, I'm NOT going there -- this is about the card game), after three hands he will step in and help you cheat, though it doesn't say how, and you will win the next time.

No, it doesn't.  If you have Zevran in your party (no, I'm NOT going there -- this is about the card game), after three hands he will step in and help you cheat, though it doesn't say how, and you will win the next time.

Oh Lawd, I about lost my ****.

You can, Helios969.  And you can even have a foursome.  Leliana does have to be hardened and in love.

Edit: And NO, Zevran does not have to be romanced and it doesn't turn on the romance with him.

I tried again, but this time I shuffled and didn't cut the cards. Won the game. First time through I recall shuffling and not cutting too, and I caught her cheating.

Other than reloading a save I don't know how you can bring her back. As for winning I know she will leave after a center number of losses, but if you are not a rouge and you have not harden leliana, just bring leliana with you and she will offer to help after 3 losses and you will get the duelist spec.

I'd love to see a deck of cards and a set of rules so that we could actually play that game. It sounds interesting. And, other posters were quite right in that if you have either Zevran or Leliana in your party, they will step in and help you cheat.
