I couldn't find any search feature so excuse me if this has been brought up before.
I found the thread on how to fix the mouse acceleration and set the sensitivity (why aren't these ingame options?), but the ingame sensitivy changing when aiming your gun is still too awkward for me to get adjusted to - after 2 hours of playing I still haven't gotten used to it. I don't suppose there is any gamepad support? It's a bit weird (as with me1) if they specifically took it out since it's a console port.
Mouse control is pretty bad, any gamepad support?

There is no gamepad support. You would have to use a program like XPadder to use a gamepad.
Here is a fix for mouse sensitivity-

For some of you who's wondering how to enable gamepad for use with ME2 on a PC
*Tested on Logitech wireless rumblepad 2
*32bit/64 bit Windows 7, Vista, XP
*This is a workaround and not a fix
-Make sure you download the latest drivers from logitech for your gamepad
-Install the drivers (with administrative rights and you may have to restart your PC)
-Calibrate and customize your profile. You can find the key bindings (controls) in ME2 or the web
-Install ME2
-Start ME2 Launcher and customize your settings (ie Video, Import game saves..etc)
-Once you have customized your your game, launch ME2
-Write down or get a screenshot of the control configurations and you can use this to program your gamepad
-Once you have programmed your gamepad profile, quite/exit ME2
**ITS IS IMPORTANT THAT YOU CUSTOMIZE YOUR GAME AS THE WORKAROUND WILL BYPASS THE LAUNCHER!!**
-On your Desktop, goto "START"
-Select "COMPUTER"
-Navigate to this path C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Mass Effect 2\\Binaries"
**FOR 32bit users: C:\\Program Files\\Mass Effect 2\\Binaries
-Look for the mass effect 2 executable (MassEffect2.exe)
-Open the "Logitech" profiler and on the menu select "EDIT" then "PROPERTIES"
-Click on the BROWSE button and browse to the mass effect 2 executable and select "OPEN"
-Then, Give your Profile a name and select the ME2 icon on the bottom and select "OK"
-Back on the logitech profiler, select "PLAY MASS EFFECT" or whatever you named your game profile
*THATS IT, MAKE SURE YOU HAVE PROGRAMMED YOUR GAMEPAD WITH THE KEY BINDINGS IN THE GAME
-Once you launch the game, it will skip the launcher screen and go to the intro
-On the main menu of the game, test your gamepad by moving the joysticks around.
**THIS HAS BEEN TESTED TO WORK ON WIN7, VISTA, XP WITH THE LOGITECH WIRELESS RUMBLEPAD 2
**IT SHOULD WORK ON THE USB WIRED VERSION AS WELL, IF NOT UPDATE YOUR DRIVERS.
