Help i downloaded the normandy crash site dlc onto my xbox 360 over at a friends house who had the net i was able to get everything working exception of the normandy crash site.. .. actually when i'm offline now and i try to load up my game it states that the game cannot be loaded because the normandy crash site cannot be found or some error like that... when i try to load it up when i'm plugged into the net it works flawlessly but i think it's stupid that i can't use the dlc or even PLAY MY GAME while offline can anyone tell me what's going on

You can only access that DLC while connected to the internet, that's about all there is to it.

that's freakin dumb.. so i'm stuck not being able to play my game unless i'm on someones internet without deleting the dlc.. good job bioware

Are you serious? If I get DLC, I can only use the game while connected? And if I try to use it offline, I must delete the DLC? Which, apparently, can only be downloaded once?

Who came up with this great idea? If this is the future of the DLC, then its looking like its not worth it if you must be logged in to play.

Chris Priestly answered the same question in another thread -

Correct. You do not have to be connected to Xbox Live or to the internet to play DLC. You must be connected to download it and activate it, but once it is activated, you no longer need to be connected. You will have to restart your game, but it should then appear ready to be used.

It must be a glitch it wasn't apparently made to work that way

i cant access the normandy crash site or the pre-order armor and gun offline. it's taking up the hard drive space though.

You can use it offline as long as you're using it on the same console that you activated it on (or if you use MS's tool to transfer your licenses to a different xbox you can use it on that one [tool only can be used once ever year or something like that]).

I was playing fine with all the DLC yesterday when my internet connection was out of service.
