Yep, Scimitar can be found during the samara mission. I think it just lies there on a shelf, not 100% sure about the shelf though.

I must say the claymore is good for one thing laughs. In the Collector ambush the Leader took control, his barrier falls (thank you smgs on Mordin and me) so he closes in, I pop up out of cover and nail him with it, and he goes flying and dies. I was laughing pretty hard, went to fire again and had to reload. The reload time and the small clip makes it a terrible weapon.



Thanks for the info on the shotgun I guess I should go grab Samara then. Also do weapons carry over to the NG+ or not?

Lol, that does sound amazing. But, having the Scimitar is perhaps funnier still. Especially if you distract Harbinger with Tali or Legion's combat drone and pump like four shotgun blasts into his spine. For some reason, Harbinger does like no damage to combat drones, perhaps because he uses dark energy biotics and the drone has a shield and not a barrier.

i found the location on easy. if you are not on hardcore or insanity, it just gives you a damage upgrade. i remeber because i went to pick it up.
