I really liked Morrigan as a character. Definately one of the most intriguing character in a game, movie, or book that i have encountered. I found myself actually caring about what happens to her and wanting to know the character's story. I was sad when she just left, but at least they say something like her story will be told or something in the credits. I for one really hope Bioware brings her back to tell us what happened to her. At the end of the game when the queen asked me what I was going to do now I said I was going to go find Morrigan. That probably won't be DLC though, it'd have to be like an expansion or a sequal because it takes place after the story of the game ends.

Morrigan for the most part is very cold socially inept but as your relationship with her grows (friendly or more than that) she begins to open up a little more. By the end of the game when she is saying how she will be leaving you for good at the final battle she finally says something like despite the circumstances that cause her to leave you for good she has no regrets over what both you and her shared and she finally refers to you as "my love." I liked that sorta bond building in the game where you start off probably really disliking this character but as the game progresses she slowly opens up more and more and it culminates to this "emotional barrier" that she's had up virtually the entire story thus far shattering and she is finally able to tell you how she really feels. I think very few games capture that sort of drama perfectly and Bioware did a really good job with it in Dragon Age.

So in summary, please bring morrigan back sooner than later :-)

I started off loving Alistair and Wynne and making them a vital part of every grouping I had. Then I played some more... I still won't say I "like" Morrigan, but she's grown on me. Whereas I am firmly in the dislike camp for Alistair and Wynne's shine has kinda worn off...

All else being equal, I <3 Leli. =D

I just wondering who he beside me likes Morrigan. i been seeing most of people going for the redhead woman over Morrigan i really don't know why.

As an interesting character she was great. She had a strong personality. If she was real, however, I probably couldn't stand her. Too egotistical and too whiney.

Very complex character, even though she can come across as egocentric, but if you really pay attention to the details she is just very insecure.

The more I've thought about her, the more I sympathize for her. Honestly, considering her upbringing, I'm just happy she's not setting small animals on fire for giggles in the back of the campsite...

The character is a complete and utter pain in the ass.

I'm not fond of that blatantly lesbian nun either.

This is the problem I found in reverse: playing with Wynne because I can't stand Morrigan (though I am forcing myself to use her for a couple of extra playthroughs).  Unless you're playing a mage you're either stuck with one or the other and if you don't like one of them then you are stuck with the other.  Kinda wish they had kept Jowan as an NPC, or at least had at least one more mage-type character considering how many warrior NPCs we have...

Bioware made Morrigan one of the more interesting chars, IMO. She definitely has a mind of her own and needs to be handled with kid gloves. I like that about her. She's also mysterious; she most assuredly has something up her sleeves (figuratively speaking). She speaks her mind. One time in Redcliffe Village, when I had Morrigan and Wynne in the party, I thought I was actually going to see a physical cat fight. Their bantering was that intense! Great stuff for a wickedly fun char.

Loved Morrigan, my favourite character Bioware's ever done, (Been playing since BG1), so much depth to the character, signs of sarcasim, humour, sadness/loneliness, 'humanity' , etc... Very compelling and I didn't even romance her.

Very much so. Mainly because she's hot, though.

I've made it my mission to track her down, and said so many a time at the end of the game.

I like Morrigan but I hate Claudia Black. Her voice is so overused and annoying.

That being said; Leliana > Morrigan.

Ehh, her initial build sets her up to be a decent controller/debilitator and is more or less vital for the early parts of the game if the PC isn't a mage. That said, shapeshifting blows pretty hard, and her attributes aren't optimal (same as with every companion). She doesn't even have some special ability like Wynne's vessel to make up for it either. Of course, even gimped mages are worth at least two of any other class, but I would put her below Wynne in terms of usefulness.

I really fail to see how Morrigan is 'evil'... sure she can be a heartless shrew on occasion, but mainly she is just defiant of the status quo
